ANTI-SMOKING AWARENESS SESSION + CORE VALUES FORMATION | PYAP BARANGAY SUMPONG And together with SK (SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN ) BARANGAY SUMPONG

A meaningful afternoon took place with PYAP Barangay Sumpong! We held an "Anti-Smoking Awareness Session" with the youth where we discussed the harmful effects of smoking on health, family, and their future. This wasn't just a lecture — we also had an open forum and sharing of experiences so everyone could better understand why choosing a healthy lifestyle matters.

Alongside this, we revisited the Core Values every youth should uphold: Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, and Makabansa. PYAP Sumpong believes that true youth development begins with self-discipline and genuine concern for others. Together, let's build a generation with dreams, principles, and action! 💪

Today’s emergency meeting with the PYAP Sumpong Officers served as a crucial moment to reconnect, reflect, and realign our goals as one team. Despite the urgency, it became an opportunity to strengthen our unity through open communication, mutual understanding, and shared commitment. We emphasized the importance of teamwork, trust, and collaboration—reminding everyone that a strong organization is built not just on plans, but on the bond we create with each other.

As we move forward, we focused on strategic planning for the continuous improvement of our organization. Ideas were exchanged, challenges were addressed, and solutions were carefully laid out to ensure better service for the youth and the community. This meeting marked not just a response to immediate concerns, but a renewed dedication to growth, leadership, and excellence. Together, we rise stronger and more prepared for the future.

I greatly admire our BRGY captain, Hon. Velemar Ricarte. I am also grateful to the Sangguniang Kabataan of BRGY Sumpong, led by SK Chairman Hon. Jhon Steve Bautista, for the support you've given to our organization for the PYAP SPORTSFEST 2025, and also to his councilors, secretary, and treasurer of the Sangguniang Kabataan BRGY Sumpong.
