JOINT MEETING OF BSP COORDINATORS AND GSP DFA/SSC

Harmonization and Alignment with DepEd Memorandum No. 393, s. 2026

AUGUST 18, 2026-A day marking a significant step toward the harmonization and alignment of scouting programs with DepEd Memorandum No. 393, s. 2026 for BSP and GSP Bukidnon Council.

The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthened coordination, collaboration, and shared commitment in ensuring that scouting activities and initiatives remain responsive to the needs of learners and supportive of the Department of Education’s goals for youth development.

Schools Division Superintendent Dr.Victoria Gazo shared her optimism that the initiative is a positive indication of the success of future scouting activities. She emphasized that through strengthened collaboration between BSP and GSP, young scouts can be nurtured to become good, responsible, capable, and community-oriented leaders.

The gathering also recognized the strong support and initiative of SGOD Chief Dr. Nancy Panisante, whose commitment to strengthening scouting programs and empowering young people continues to contribute to the success of this collaborative effort. Her inspiring sharing of experiences further encouraged the participants to deepen their dedication to youth leadership and development.

The joint meeting serves as a reminder that when organizations work together with a shared purpose, they create stronger opportunities for young people to lead with courage, serve with compassion, and inspire others through positive example.

Together, BSP and GSP continue to invest in young leaders—because the future of the community is in their hands.

𝙸𝚗 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢 𝚊𝚍𝚟𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚎, 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚠𝚒𝚕𝚕 𝚊𝚕𝚠𝚊𝚢𝚜 𝚋𝚎 𝚊𝚗 𝚎𝚗𝚍𝚙𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚝. ☘️

But not for us girl leaders!
We will always continue on the journey of leading and serving because 𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭, 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐚 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭!

Here's a glimpse from the closing ceremony of the 3rd CGGL where the girls from different patrols gave their impressions and and had thoughts to bring home from 𝐌𝐬. 𝐆𝐰𝐲𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐜𝐨, 𝐂𝐆𝐒𝐎𝐓 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧. The awarding of certificates and special awards were also given during the event and concluded it with the retiring of colors.

This is a reminder that not all goodbyes are sad, but some are full of learnings and new friends to look forward seeing again. And with this note, we say:

‎The second day started with an energizing Zumba session that chased away the cold, and misty morning of Cinchona. The lively and energetic morning did not break as it was followed by a Breakfast hunt with a twist! It challenged not only their teamwork, but also their dancing skills. 💃

‎The learning continued during our Planning Your Girl-Led Session, where each patrol shared innovative ideas that reflected their passion for leading and creating positive change in their communities.
‎
‎To end the morning, the girls gathered for a heartfelt activity entitled "Threads of Us" where a single strand of yarn became a web of appreciation. Each patrol member recognized one another's strengths, kindness—a reminder that leadership is strengthened through trust, gratitude, and genuine connection. 🧶💚

‎Under the hush of the night, we let the little things speak—the layers we wore, the colors we chose, and the details that made each of us us. More than just a 𝒄𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒇𝒊𝒕, every look became a glimpse of the stories and personalities we carry within.

‎Beneath the same sky, we opened pages we rarely let others read. We spoke of the struggles that shaped us, the dreams that keep us going, and the little 𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒉𝒐𝒑𝒆 we carry through the dark.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂 𝒃𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕! ✨

As we conclude the 3rd CGGL, let us look back and appreciate the memorable moments we shared together.

Our journey began with the arrival proper, registration, and orientation, where participants were warmly welcomed and prepared for the activities ahead.

The Opening Ceremony officially commenced with the grounding of Colors, followed by the Welcome Address of our 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒍 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝑻𝒊𝒕𝒂 𝑳𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒂 𝑳. 𝑮𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒊𝒂. We were then inspired by the heartfelt message of our 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒆 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒓, Ms. 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒉𝒂, setting a meaningful tone for the event.

After, we had the unveiling of the official logo and the digital lighting of the torch, symbolizing unity, leadership, and the beginning of a meaningful journey for every girl.
