The Philippine Red Cross Boracay-Malay Chapter delivers six of the avenues of services, with the exception of the International Humanitarian Law, to the demanding and unique needs of the Boracay-Malay community. Only on its 2nd year of existence – a baby in the field of humanitarian services, the PRC Boracay-Malay Chapter are overwhelmed with the demands of various services required by the communi

As a nongovernmental organization relying solely on the donors of philanthropic individuals and corporations the Chapter, despite its meager funds, had been able to deliver and accomplish so much to augment the local government ineptness to answer the needs of the community. With such performance of the Chapter at its toddler stage it served as proof that the PRC National Headquarter never made a mistake in conferring a full Chapter status for the Boracay-Malay Chapter. Boracay Island has unique and demanding needs due to the unique community of residents and guests comprising of international expatriates and locals. Blood Services

Congratulations to our newly graduated Lifeguards, the first batch of 2026!🏊‍♀️🌊

Today, we celebrate a new group of lifesavers who trained with discipline, faced every challenge, and showed courage both in and out of the water.

From rescue techniques and run–swim endurance to CPR, teamwork, and resilience, you have proven what it truly means to be a lifeguard.

Congratulations, Lifeguards! 🌊🏊‍♀️

Day 4 of the Lifeguarding Training pushed trainees to their limits, testing strength, preparedness, and the deep sense of responsibility every lifeguard must uphold.

The day opened with calisthenics, building endurance and discipline, conditioning both body and mind for the challenges of rescue work.

Trainees then engaged in hands-on practice with vital lifesaving equipment, refining rescue board techniques for both passive and active victims, and enhancing control and accuracy using the rescue tube—skills where seconds truly make the difference.

CPR application was also a key focus, reinforcing one of the most critical actions a rescuer must perform in life-threatening situations.

More than physical training, the day served as a reminder that lifeguarding is about responding with clarity, composure, and urgency when lives are on the line.

Every drill, every repetition, and every drop of sweat continues to shape lifeguards who are strong, skilled, and firmly grounded in purpose.

Kudos to our instructors and marshals! 🫡🫡
