IMPORTANT REMINDER!

If you're a resident in the municipality of Malay, YOU CAN ATTEND ANY OF OUR 4 LOCATIONS!

Can’t make it on your barangay’s scheduled day because of work or other commitments? No problem! You are welcome to bring your pet to whichever Vet Mission location works best for you.

Have several pets or are you caring for stray animals? You are also welcome to come on multiple days and bring different animals each day.

A LITTLE TIP:
Brgy. Yapak has had fewer attendees during the past four Vet Missions, so if your schedule is flexible, it may be a good option for a shorter waiting time.

A little reminder about who this mission is for

Our Vet Mission exists to make veterinary care accessible to pet owners in Malay who may not otherwise be able to afford it.

We kindly ask everyone to read the guidelines in this post before coming to the mission. By prioritizing those with the greatest need, we can make sure that the limited time, supplies, and veterinary services available reach as many deserving pets and families as possible.

If you are able to afford private veterinary care, please consider supporting a local clinic instead. And if you would still like to support our mission, donations are always greatly appreciated and help us continue providing care to those who need it most.

Thank you for understanding and for helping us make this mission count.

WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP! 🐾

Thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors and partner organizations, hotel accommodation, transportation, food, refreshments, thank-you bags, and much of the medicines and medical supplies are now covered for Vet Mission Boracay 2026. ❤️

But we still need cash donations to cover the remaining costs of the mission, including medicines, medical supplies, and other essential veterinary expenses.

Our goal: ₱150,000 to cover the estimated 600 animals

Every donation, big or small, helps us provide more animals with the veterinary care they need. 🐶🐱❤️

Ways to donate:
GCash
Bank Transfer
Cash donations at Lemoni Cafe D’Mall

Please see the graphics for donation details.

📸 If you donate, please send us a photo/screenshot of your donation so we can properly acknowledge and thank you!

And if you can’t donate, sharing this post can help us reach someone who can. 🙏

Thank you for helping us help more animals! 🐾🐾❤️❤️

VET MISSION BORACAY 2026 | FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We’re looking forward to providing free veterinary services once again from August 31 to September 3, 2026.
To help everyone prepare, we’ve put together answers to some of the questions we receive most often.

REGISTRATION
There is no pre-registration for any of our services.
Registration is done on-site, and all services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Registration starts at 8:00 AM
• Surgery registration closes at 2:00 PM

SURGERY REQUIREMENTS

If you are planning to have your pet spayed or neutered, please remember:
• Your pet must have received a valid anti-rabies vaccination at least two weeks before surgery.
• If your pet has not yet been vaccinated, you can receive a free anti-rabies vaccination at the Municipal Veterinary Office (Action Center) before the mission.

On the day of surgery:

• Pets must not be fed for 12 hours before surgery.
• Dogs must be kept on a leash.
• Cats must be transported in a secure carrier or cage.
• Every pet must be accompanied by an owner or caretaker throughout the process.

For safety and proper care, we require a 1:1 owner-to-dog ratio and a 1:2 owner-to-cat ratio.

We encourage everyone to swipe through the images for the complete requirements before coming to the mission.

Saving and sharing this post also helps other pet owners prepare and ensures that we can help as many animals as possible.

If you still have questions, feel free to send us a message. We’re happy to help.

Want to help us make Vet Mission Boracay 2026 a success?

Every year, our mission is made possible by the generosity of our community. This year, 41 volunteer veterinarians and veterinary assistants are donating their time and expertise as well as the majority of the medicines needed and flights from Manila to provide free veterinary care across Boracay and mainland Malay from August 31 – September 3, 2026. We are happy to announce that we have already received sponsors for food and drinks!

There are many other ways you can support:

Make a Cash Donation
Although our partner organisations are covering the major costs of the medical supplies, we still need to raise approximately P150 000 for additional medicines and essential mission expenses during the mission.

Every donation, no matter the amount, helps us provide free veterinary care to more animals.

We accept GCash, Bank Transfer and Cash Donations.

Sponsor Refreshments

Mission days are long, busy, and often very hot. Help keep our veterinarians, veterinary assistants, and volunteers hydrated by sponsoring bottled water, juices, sports drinks, coffee, or other refreshments from August 31 to September 3.

If you'd like to sponsor refreshments for one or more days, send us a message.

Contribute to Our Thank You Bags
Help us welcome and thank our 41 volunteers with thoughtful gifts such as:
• Discount vouchers or gift cards
• Island souvenirs
• Snacks and treats
• Travel essentials
• Or any other item you'd like to share

These do not have to have 41 of each item as we can mix and match them, any donation helps.

Help Us Reach Pet Owners

Know someone with a dog or cat? Help us spread the word.

Share our posts and encourage pet owners to check our mission schedule, surgery requirements, and guidelines before attending. By helping owners prepare in advance, we can ensure more pets receive the care they need.

Spread the Word
Not able to donate? You can still make a huge difference by sharing our posts, introducing us to local businesses, or recommending potential sponsors. Every share helps us reach more people who can support this mission and the animals we serve. Also spreading the word on each of our posts about the guidelines for surgery etc so every pet can get the care they need.

Sponsor Deadline

To have your logo included on our printed event materials, please confirm your sponsorship by August 16, Sunday.

If you or your business would like to support Vet Mission Boracay 2026, we'd love to hear from you! Send us a message to learn more about our sponsorship opportunities.

Thank you for helping us care for the animals of Boracay and mainland Malay. Together, we can make this year's mission our biggest and most impactful yet!

LET’S BE RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERS

Every day, we see puppies and kittens being abandoned along Mt. Luho Road. This was today, July 20, 2026.

This is no way to care for any living creature.

For the 5th year in a row, VET MISSION BORACAY is offering FREE spay and neuter surgeries for dogs and cats in Boracay and Malay.

Make sure to bring your dog or cat to help prevent unwanted pregnancies. As a pet owner, you are responsible not only for your pet, but also for its impact on the community.

Stray animals can spread diseases, and if your house pet is not spayed/neutered, its more likely to roam the streets and be in contact with unvaccinated animals which puts you and your family at greater risk. Are you willing to pay for medical expenses if your animal bites a neighbour or a tourist?

DON’T MISS THIS YEAR’S MISSION!

Make sure your pet is vaccinated against rabies. Rabies vaccination is available for FREE through our Municipal Veterinary Office and is required to avail of the free spay and neuter surgery.
