Lubos po akong nagpapasalamat sa ating masipag, dedikado, at butihing Hon. Mayor Frolibar S. Bautista sa tiwala na ipinagkaloob sa akin na magsilbing Officer-in-Charge ng Office of the Municipal Mayor sa nakalipas na tatlong (3) araw.

Isang malaking karangalan po para sa akin ang mabigyan ng pagkakataong pansamantalang gampanan ang tungkuling ito bilang bahagi ng aking patuloy na paglilingkod sa ating bayan. Para sa akin, higit sa anumang posisyon ang responsibilidad na makatulong sa maayos na pamamahala at sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng ating Munisipalidad ng Malay.

Maraming salamat po sa pagkakataon at tiwala. Patuloy po tayong magtutulungan at magkakaisa para sa kapakanan at kaunlaran ng ating mga nasasakupan. 🇵🇭🙏

Naging matagumpay ang isinagawang Consultative Meeting kaugnay ng Proposed Amendment sa Pet Ordinance ng Bayan ng Malay, na may partikular na pagtutok sa Isla ng Boracay. 🐾

Dumalo sa pulong ang mga kinatawan ng iba’t ibang sektor, mga opisyal ng pamahalaan, at mga stakeholders upang talakayin ang mga hakbang na magpapalakas sa responsableng pag-aalaga ng alagang hayop, kapakanan ng mga hayop, at pagpapanatili ng kalinisan at kaligtasan ng ating komunidad, lalo na sa isang world-class tourism destination tulad ng Boracay.

Sa pamamagitan ng konsultasyong ito, naibahagi ng mga kalahok ang kanilang mga suhestiyon, pananaw, at mga alalahanin na makatutulong upang higit pang mapabuti at mapagtibay ang ordinansa para sa kapakinabangan ng mga residente, pet owners, at mga bisita.

Ang sama-samang pagkilos na ito ay patunay ng ating pagsisikap na mapanatili ang isang responsable, ligtas, at pet-friendly na komunidad, kasabay ng pagpapanatili sa reputasyon ng Boracay bilang isang malinis at maayos na isla.

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng dumalo at nagbahagi ng kanilang mahahalagang ideya at rekomendasyon sa mahalagang talakayang ito.

Lubos din po ang aming pasasalamat sa Sangguniang Barangay ng Manocmanoc sa pagpapahiram ng kanilang Barangay Session Hall, sa pangunguna ni Punong Barangay Kap. Delos Santos.

A productive Consultative Meeting was held on March 7, 2026 at the Brgy. Balabag Conference Room in preparation for the upcoming wide Dental, Medical Mission with Blood Drive, initiated by Hon. Grengo T. Gelito, RN, Chairman on Public Health and Sanitation.

This collaborative effort brought together key partners committed to serving our community:

• Municipal Health Office represented by Dr. Athena Magdamit
• PCGA–DAS represented by Ms. Bhing Torres and Ms. Desiree Segovia
• Rotary Club of Boracay Island represented by Atty. Immanuel Sodusta and Ms. Jen Pelingon
• Philippine Red Cross – Boracay Chapter represented by Ms. Loreta Alojipan
• Barangay Committees:
– Manocmanoc – Councilor Ernesto Cruz
– Balabag – Councilor Marilou Sacapaño
– Yapak – Councilor Girlie Solano
• Faith-Based Community represented by Pastor Jimmy Medina

Together, we continue to strengthen partnerships in bringing accessible Dental Services, Healthcare and life-saving Blood Donation initiatives to the people of Malay.

Grateful to join my fellow Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Boracay Island in our continued Anti-Bullying Project at Manocmanoc Elementary School.

Seeing the smiles of around 200 young students reminds us why community service matters—teaching kindness, respect, and courage to stand against bullying.

Together, through small acts of care, meaningful talks, and shared moments of joy, we continue to plant seeds of compassion and confidence in the hearts of our children.

As Vice Chairman of the Committee on Education of LGU Malay, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude for the invitation to participate in the Consultative Meeting with the CHEDRO VI Regional Director for Local Colleges, held on March 3, 2026 at the City of Passi Arena, hosted by Passi City College.

Pursuant to Republic Act No. 7722 or the Higher Education Act of 1994, and CHED Memorandum Order No. 18, Series of 2022, the consultative meeting addressed vital matters concerning the Institutional Recognition (IR) status and application of Local Universities and Colleges.

Am also conveying my appreciation to Hon. Raul F. Muyong, Director IV of Commission on Higher Education Region VI, for the leadership and guidance in strengthening higher education governance.

I likewise expresses my gratitude to the leadership of LGU Malay, especially Municipal Mayor Hon. Frolibar S. Bautista, for their continued support to the education sector.

HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY EVERYONE 🙏 ✨️

"Sometimes the hardest thing to surrender is the desire to get even. When we are hurt, betrayed, or misunderstood, our flesh wants justice immediately. But God calls us to something higher — trust.

This verse reminds us that vengeance is not our assignment. It belongs to God. When we choose not to retaliate, we are not being weak — we are demonstrating faith. We are saying, “Lord, I trust You to defend me.”

Forgiveness doesn’t mean what happened was right. It means we refuse to let bitterness take root in our hearts. God sees every tear, every injustice, every silent battle. And He promises that He will handle what we release into His hands.

Today, lay down the anger. Let God be your defender. Peace comes when we stop fighting battles that belong to Him.

Lord, help me release every hurt and desire for revenge. Teach me to trust You as my defender. Guard my heart from bitterness and fill me with Your peace. 🤍"

Bilang Chairperson ng Committee on Health at Social Services, tayo ay nag initiate para talakayin ang isyung ito sa ating Committee Hearing bukas.

Hindi po natin dapat balewalain ang panawagan ng ating komunidad tungkol sa kakulangan sa emergency medical facilities at response sa Boracay. Layunin ng pagdinig na ito na pagtibayin ang koordinasyon ng MHO, MDRRMO, mga ospital, private clinics, at iba pang concerned agencies upang masiguro na sa oras ng emergency, handa at kumpleto ang serbisyo.

Bawat minuto ay mahalaga. Panahon na upang palakasin natin ang ating health emergency system para sa kaligtasan ng bawat residente at turista.

Kasama ang local chief executive at legislative body sa layunin na ito ang palakasin ang emergency response system dito sa atin isla ng Boracay at Mainland Malay.
