Today, JCI Philippines joins the nation in honoring the 𝟏𝟐𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲. 🇵🇭

Our freedom is a gift born from the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of those who came before us. Their history reminds us that independence is not only something we celebrate but also something we protect, strengthen, and pass on.

As JCI Philippines, we continue to answer the call to serve, lead, and create positive change in our communities. Guided by our theme “Sustain the Future,” we recognize that the freedom we enjoy today carries a responsibility: to build a nation that is more united, inclusive, resilient, and hopeful for the next generation.

From leading a newly established Local Organization to being recognized on the national pages, our very own 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐫. 𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐓. 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐨, the first-ever President of JCI Malasiqui, has been featured in the inaugural issue of The Leader Magazine of JCI Philippines as one of the presidents selected from among hundreds of Masarig Presidents nationwide.

When asked to choose her hero, Pres. Gla chose Neytiri of Avatar, a symbol of strength, courage, resilience, and compassion. Like Neytiri, she believes that true leadership comes from protecting what matters, standing firm in the face of challenges, and leading with both heart and purpose. As a mother, educator, and community leader, she continues to embody these values in every endeavor she undertakes.

This recognition is not only a testament to her leadership but also a milestone for JCI Malasiqui. As our local president, she has paved the way for a legacy of service, empowerment, and excellence.

𝙴𝚍𝚞𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚋𝚎𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚜 𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎 𝚖𝚎𝚊𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚏𝚞𝚕 𝚠𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝚊 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚖𝚞𝚗𝚒𝚝𝚢 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚜 𝚝𝚘𝚐𝚎𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚝𝚘 𝚜𝚞𝚙𝚙𝚘𝚛𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚍𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚖𝚜 𝚘𝚏 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢 𝚌𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚍.

Through the 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙠-𝘼𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢, JCI Malasiqui extended a School Supply Drive for the elementary pupils of 𝘉𝘳𝘨𝘺. 𝘗𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘶𝘮, 𝘔𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘲𝘶𝘪, 𝘗𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘯, providing essential learning materials as they prepare for another school year. This initiative was made possible through the leadership of 𝐿𝒪 𝒫𝓇𝑒𝓈𝒾𝒹𝑒𝓃𝓉 𝒟𝓇. 𝒢𝓁𝒶𝓇𝑒𝑒𝓃 𝒯. 𝐹𝑜𝓇𝑒𝓁𝑜 and the unwavering support of her fellow JCI members, who share a common commitment to empowering young learners through education.

May these simple gifts inspire confidence, hope, and a greater desire to learn among our beneficiaries. Together, we continue to create positive change and invest in the future—one student, one school, and one community at a time.

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐒) proudly extends its commitment to community development through a meaningful service initiative benefiting 𝘉𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘺 𝘗𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘶𝘮, 𝘔𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘲𝘶𝘪, 𝘗𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘯, one of the developing barangays in the municipality. This project aims to foster positive change, promote community empowerment, and address local needs through collaborative action and volunteerism. With the support and leadership of 𝙃𝙤𝙣. 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙤 𝘽. 𝘿𝙚𝙡𝙖 𝘾𝙧𝙪𝙯, 𝙅𝙧., Barangay Captain of Pamaranum, this initiative reflects our shared vision of building a stronger, more progressive, and empowered community.

As we continue to live out the JCI mission of creating positive change, we recognize that true progress is achieved when leaders and community members work hand in hand. 𝒯𝑜𝑔𝑒𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓇, 𝓁𝑒𝓉'𝓈 𝒸𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓉𝑒 𝒶 𝐵𝓇𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉𝑒𝓇 𝐹𝓊𝓉𝓊𝓇𝑒

On June 3, 2026, JCI Malasiqui successfully conducted its Brigada Eskwela outreach activity at 𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙪𝙢 𝙀𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡, bringing together volunteers committed to creating a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for our learners.

This meaningful initiative was spearheaded by our Local Organization President, 𝓓𝓻. 𝓖𝓵𝓪𝓻𝓮𝓮𝓷 𝓣. 𝓕𝓸𝓻𝓮𝓵𝓸, whose leadership inspired collective action and community service. Through teamwork, dedication, and a shared commitment to education, we contributed to preparing the school for another fruitful academic year.
