|SKILL CAMP 2.0LIGTAS-BUHAY|

Yesterday, the Senior Scouts of Potrero National High School proudly took part in Skill Camp 2.0, joining the “Ligtas-Buhay” seminar focused on developing essential life-saving and rescue skills.

Through this meaningful training, our scouts gained valuable knowledge on how to properly respond during emergencies, perform basic life-saving techniques, and apply rescue skills when they are needed most.
Beyond skills and knowledge, this experience reminded us that being a Scout means being prepared, responsible, and ready to serve others.

August 1, 2026 | First Saturday Advancement Training on S.Y 2026-2027

Our first Scout training officially started, and it was a great way to begin the school year. We learned the fundamentals of Scouting through the base method, where every crew rotated through different stations covering Basic Commands, Smartness and Good order, Merit Badge, and the History of Scouting. Each base helped us gain new knowledge while understanding the values, discipline, and responsibilities that every Scout should practice.

To end the day, we participated in fun and interactive games that helped improve our teamwork, communication, and friendship with fellow Scouts. The training was not only about learning new things but also about creating meaningful experiences and building stronger connections within the Scout community.

This is only the beginning of our journey, and we look forward to more trainings, challenges, and memories together.

Today was a meaningful and rewarding experience for the Senior Scouts of Potrero National High School as we rendered service at Sts. Peter and John Parish. This activity allowed us to put into practice the values of responsibility, teamwork, leadership, and service that scouting instills in us.

Through our collective efforts, we were able to contribute to the parish community while strengthening our bond as Scouts. Beyond the tasks we accomplished, this experience reminded us of the importance of helping others, giving back to the community, and serving with a willing heart

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and be part of this worthwhile activity. May we continue to live by the Scout Oath and Law, always ready to lend a helping hand and make a positive difference wherever we go.

The students of Potrero National High School actively participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) to strengthen their awareness and readiness during earthquake emergencies.

With the guidance and assistance of the PNHS Senior Scouts, students safely and orderly evacuated to the designated evacuation site at Hwa Chong Temple.

This activity highlights the importance of disaster preparedness, teamwork, and responsibility in ensuring the safety of our school community. Together, we learn, prepare, and stay ready for any emergency
