Climate Change Response Hub Orientation

Thankful and greatful to Greenpeace Philippines for the wonderful . Our partnership has brought meangful realization and learning to our Malabon community this October 15th.

Climate change is a vast and fast growing issue that needs immediate and pro-active move. We are calling on all stakeholders to take extraordinary steps to this extraordinary situation.

It's time to equip ourselves with the knowledge and connections needed to fight for a sustainable tomorrow. Alay sa Kinabukasan Lakas at Talino Foundation, Inc. today joined the 2030 Youth Force in the Philippines Inc. activity dubbed as Kuwento Mo Yan: A Climate Action Forum.

Led by our Program Director Arnold Dominic Vicencio , Executive Director Marlon R. Feliciano , Corporate Secretary Genalyn Salentes and PR Consultant Jhunval Escosio , AKLAT Foundation Inc. shared insights on the pressing climate change issues within the city. The forum serves as an opportunity to voice out challenges the youth is going through and hear out their strategies in having a tangible solutions to make our community more resilient.

Let us move from this fruitful conversation to concrete action and shape the sustainable future we deserve!

Last Friday, ang Alay sa Kinabukasan Lakas at Talino Foundation, Inc. ay nakilahok sa selebrasyon ng Teacher's Month kasama ang Schools Division Office - Malabon City at ang Tanggapan ni Konsehala Nadja Vicencio . Led by our PR Consultant Mx. Jhunval Escosio , mga palaro, papremyo at plants ang ating ipinamigay para sa kasiyahan ng ating mga g**o.

The project aims to develop the potential of youth and all other interested individuals in protecting themselves against abuse and threats in the community and digital innovations.

Today September 27, 2025, 2PM we will be discussing the salient features of Republic Act No. 11313 otherwise known as The Safe Spaces Act or Bawal Bastos Law via Facebook Live Stream / Streamyard together with our invited legal expert from Public Attorney's Office and the Office of Councilor Nadja Vicencio.

HOLD POLLUTERS ACCOUNTABLE!

Alay sa Kinabukasan Lakas at Talino Foundation, Inc. supported the initiative of Greenpeace Philippines and Legal Rights and Natural Resources to End Corruption and Hold Polluters Accountable. Today in a press launch held at Sta. Mesa, Manila, AKLAT PR Consultant Jhunval Escosio and Corporate Secretary Genalyn Salentes expressed the foundation's commitment to call for accountability of big polluters and corrupt officials worsening the climate crisis.

During the press briefing stakeholders pushed for transparent and just climate finance to directly benefit affected communities. Urged collective action and people-centered solution to achieve true climate justice.

HAPPY TO SHARE

Last week Bridging Better Readers Foundation (BBRF) and members of Girl & Boy Scouts of the Philippines visited AKLAT Foundation's Farm of Hope site at Barangay TInajeros, Malabon. They were able to bring home fruit bearing seedlings for their tree planting activity in Barangay Catmon.

This endeavor aims to promote not only the love for volunteerism but also the value of caring for the environment towards sustainable community development. The foundation wishes to have more dedicated community leaders, volunteers, and partner organizations like BBRF whose common goal is to nurture both literacy and environmental stewardship.

Participation to the Association of Foundation's ICARE Climate Action Workshop

Marlon Feliciano, the Executive Director of AKLAT Foundation Inc., along with Corporate Secretary Genalyn Salentes, took an active role in the Project ICare Climate Action Workshop organized by the Association of Foundations on September 10 to 11, 2025, at Novotel in Quezon City.

This two-day workshop offered essential foundational insights into climate change, as well as strategies for mitigation and adaptation. Additionally, the event served as an opportunity for various foundations to connect with other NGOs.

INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY IN POTRERO

Last September 6, 2025 Alay sa Kinabukasan Lakas at Talino Foundation, Inc. joined the Barangay Development Council of Potrero, Malabon. In the meeting presided by Punong Barangay Sheryl Nolasco, the foundation Executive Director Marlon Feliciano & Program Director Arnold Dominic Vicencio actively participated and shared the insights and practices of the institution.

The foundation is happy and proud to be part of this program of empowering communities . Forum such as this helps civil societies to be more resilient, as they leverage the contributions of all members, leading to greater innovation and economic participation.

Being in jail or prison can be an incredibly isolating and challenging experience, often marked by feelings of despair, regret, or loneliness. Sa mga ganitong pagkakataon words or deed of encouragement can serve as a powerful source of comfort at pag-asa.

Thank you to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology - Malabon, and to the Office of Konsehala Nadja Vicencio for the partnership and for making this livelihood endeavor a reality.

God's Word calls us as people of God to: Care for incarcerated people as though we were in prison with them (Hebrews 13:3). Realize that incarceration doesn't merely affect the people found guilty. Spouses and children can suffer.
