๐ŸŽฌโœจ AHON KABATAAN FILM FESTIVAL 2026 | JUDGING DAY โœจ๐ŸŽฌ

Last June 6, 2026 (Saturday), the Ahon Kabataan Film Festival 2026 successfully held its Judging Day at the Malabon National High School Auditorium, bringing together the creativity, passion, and storytelling talents of our Kabataang Malabueรฑo filmmakers.

We were honored to have an esteemed panel of judges who generously shared their expertise and insights:

๐ŸŽฅ Eldrin Veloso โ€“ Theatre-and-film storyteller, producer, business leader, and General Manager of Fortress and The Corner Studio

The event was attended by our 10 talented finalists, fellow Kabataang Malabueรฑos, and aspiring young filmmakers who showcased their passion for storytelling through film.

As we celebrate the theme, โ€œ1998 to Present: The Vision and Legacy โ€” From Municipality to Cityhood and Beyond,โ€ we are inspired by the remarkable stories that highlight the history, identity, resilience, and legacy of the people of Malabon.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our advisers, Ms. Luziel Gutierrez and Dr. Alexander Rosete, for their unwavering guidance and support. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Mayor Jeannie Sandoval and Congressman Ricky Sandoval for their continued commitment to empowering the youth and promoting arts and culture in our city.

Special thanks to Dr. Olivia Martin, School Head of Malabon National High School, for graciously providing the venue that made this meaningful gathering possible.

The Ahon Kabataan Film Festival 2026 proudly presents an exceptional panel of judges composed of respected professionals from the fields of film, theater, media, communications and leadership. Their expertise, creativity and passion for storytelling will help recognize and celebrate the outstanding works of our young Malabueรฑo filmmakers.

๐ŸŽฅ Mr. Robert "RB" Andres
Senior Artist-Teacher-Mentor of the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA), award-winning copywriter, creative strategist, filmmaker, and community leader dedicated to empowering storytellers through the arts.

๐ŸŽฅ Ms. Julie Abante
Human Resources professional, educator, and community leader who currently serves with the Film Development Council of the Philippines, bringing her extensive experience in leadership and youth development.

๐ŸŽฅ Mr. Jeffrey Lois Talla
Popularly known as *Motorkada*, a social media influencer, content creator, videographer and editor with millions of followers, inspiring audiences through engaging digital storytelling.

๐ŸŽฅ Ms. Zarrina Louise Fernandez
A multi-awarded film director recognized for her outstanding achievements in independent cinema, with accolades in directing, screenwriting, and visual storytelling.

๐ŸŽฅ Mr. Eldrin Veloso
A theatre-and-film storyteller, producer and business leader. As General Manager of Fortress and The Corner Studio, he continues to bridge creative vision and real-world ex*****on while championing meaningful narratives.

We are deeply honored by their commitment to support and mentor the next generation of filmmakers. Their presence strengthens our mission of celebrating the history, culture, identity, and resilience of Malabon through the power of film.

Malugod nating binabati ang 150 benepisyaryo ng Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) Batch 1 na lumahok sa isinagawang Orientation Program.

Ang SPES ay isang mahalagang hakbang upang mabigyan ng pagkakataon ang ating mga kabataan na magkaroon ng karanasan sa trabaho habang ipinagpapatuloy ang kanilang pag-aaral. Nawaโ€™y magsilbi itong inspirasyon upang lalo pa nilang pagbutihin ang kanilang pag-aaral at paghahanda para sa kanilang kinabukasan.

Patuloy ang ating pamahalaang lungsod sa pagsuporta sa mga programang nagbibigay ng oportunidad at pag-asa sa kabataang Malabeueรฑo. Sama-sama nating hubugin ang mas maliwanag na bukas para sa susunod na henerasyon.

Handa ka na bang magkaroon ng bagong oportunidad at mas magandang kinabukasan?

Narito na ang pagkakataon para maging bahagi ng ๐„๐‚๐Ž-๐˜๐Ž๐”๐“๐‡ ๐๐‘๐Ž๐†๐‘๐€๐Œ, isang programang naglalayong ihanda ang kabataang Malabueรฑo para sa ๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ง ๐ฃ๐จ๐›๐ฌ, ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐ข๐ก๐จ๐จ๐, at ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ข๐ง๐š๐›๐ฅ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž!

Sa nagdaang ECO-Youth Project na isinagawa katuwang ang World Vision at Department of Labor and Employment, maraming kabataang Malabueรฑo ang nagpakita ng interes na matuto, magkaroon ng bagong kasanayan, at mabigyan ng oportunidad para sa mas maayos na kinabukasan.

Ngayon, muling nagbubukas ang pagkakataon para sa mga Out-of-School Youth (OSY) na nais magkaroon ng dagdag kaalaman, livelihood opportunities, at paghahanda para sa green jobs at sustainable careers.

Kung nais mong magkaroon ng bagong simula at maging bahagi ng programang nagbibigay pag-asa at oportunidad ito na ang iyong pagkakataon!

Ngayon, muling nagbubukas ang pagkakataon para sa mga kabataang nais:

โœ… Open para sa edad 16-24 years old
โœ… Magkaroon ng bagong kaalaman at skills
โœ… Matutunan ang Green Careers at Green Enterprise
โœ… Magsimula ng sariling kabuhayan

While flipping through the photos, she comes across a familiar faceโ€”an unknown man who has been a visitor in her dreams.

As the past begins to unravel, the girl soon realizes that the story of Malabon might just be buried below the raging waves of the past floodsโ€”and it is now up to her to unravel what was overlooked through the tides.
