Manila International Dance Festival
ARC Theater and Dance Company and kAndili Performing Arts Ensemble - DANCE – Acacia National High School extend our deepest gratitude to the 3rd Manila International Dance Festival 2025 for the great honor of receiving the “MIDAS Creative Direction Award” at the Closing Ceremony held at the historic Foro de Intramuros, Manila.
From the inspiring Concert at the Park at Rizal Park Open-Air Auditorium to the breathtaking Intramuros performances, MIDFEST 2025 has truly been a successful and victorious celebration of artistry, unity, and culture. We are humbled to have shared the stage with incredible participants from across the Philippines and esteemed international artists who made this festival a memorable experience.
Our heartfelt thanks to the brilliant creative leaders who made this festival possible: Direk Archie Dema-ala, Direk Mark Cabrera, Direk Vincent, Direk Pat, Direk Hannah, Direk Aiko, Direk Jeff, Direk Julian, Direk Roldan, Direk Sherwin, and Direk Boyet—your passion, artistry, and vision continue to inspire us all. Thank you so much for welcoming our Founder/ Artistic Director and Choreographer— Mr. Arje P. Cruz to the Executive Director’s Committee for 3rd Midfest 2025. We are humbled and honored.
Direk Archie for the great leadership, wonderful work, support, love, friendship and generosity, your dedication and commitment leads us to this beautiful experience. Thank you for creating MIDFEST and the whole pioneering team.
Direk Mark, for your brilliant contributions, creative insights, inputs and advices to help our students learn more from you, you have been a great mentor and teacher to us, we are grateful for everything you’ve done for us.

We also congratulate all participants who poured their talent, dedication, and spirit into every performance, and we express our deep appreciation to the resource speakers who shared their expertise and wisdom, uplifting the MIDFEST dance community and inspiring the youth to dream bigger and dance with purpose.
Special thanks as well to the pillars of Acacia National High School who guided, supported, and gave their all for our learners and artists: Mam Nerissa Banta, our second mom who assisted and cared for the Acacians and kAndilians throughout this journey, we love you so much Mama Nery; our dedicated Senior High School teachers led by Mr. Tanglao and Mam Margie Paltingca for helping us with our costumes and for the love and care; the Junior High School faculty and advisers; and to our ever-supportive principal, Mr. Ryan Jay C. Verbo, Principal II, for giving our learners the wings to fly—allowing them to participate, explore, experience, and learn from MIDFEST 2025.
We also extend our profound gratitude to our supportive Schools District Supervisor from SDO Malabon, JUAN C. OBIERNA, CESO VI, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Officer-in-Charge, Office of the Schools Division Superintendent, for granting us this opportunity to share, participate, and learn in this prestigious festival.
