𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐁 | 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗮

On June 29, 2026, at 𝗠𝗖𝗡𝗦𝗠𝗛𝗦, the 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗮 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 started their fifth activity of the year. Entertaining students that have the diligence to curiously learn and understand the importance of drug education. Headed by the 𝑩.𝑲.𝑫. 𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒚, Monica Rayne Dizon, and 𝑩.𝑲.𝑫. 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝟏𝟏 𝑹𝒆𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆, Margret Jiongco, under the guidance of the 𝑩.𝑲.𝑫. 𝑨𝒅𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒓, Mr. Ramir Delos Reyes, the activity started with a graceful opening prayer. Afterwards, the amusing games regarding what the B.K.D. interest clubs have discussed in the past has also been conducted.

The facilitators suggested an entertaining and engaging game. Each participant's speed and knowledge were tested in a unique question-and-answer session. The day concluded with a slogan-making exercise that highlighted each member's originality, expertise, and perspectives regarding drug education and prevention. As a result, the members came to understand the significance of preventing drug use and making better, more responsible decisions in their daily lives.

Additionally, the officers of Barkada Kontra Droga aim to encourage every member's curiosity and eagerness to learn, maintaining an active learning environment for both the officers and members.

“Oops, oops, oops! Week 4 na!” 🚫💊

On July 22, 2026, students of 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 (𝗠𝗖𝗡𝗦𝗠𝗛𝗦) gathered at SM 1, 4th Floor, Room 7, Hulong Duhat, Malabon City for the 4th Week of the Barkada Kontra Droga Interest Club. Led by the 𝑩.𝑲.𝑫. 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕, Marian Amoncio, and guided by the 𝑩.𝑲.𝑫. 𝑨𝒅𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒓, Mr. Ramir Delos Reyes Jr., the meeting aimed to teach students about government groups that prevent drug use, the rules, and the club's main goals.

The activity started with an opening prayer led 𝒃𝒚 𝑩.𝑲.𝑫. 𝑻𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒓, Stacie Paula Javier, followed by a fun game that kept everyone interested. Afterward, the B.K.D. President shared the rules and discussed different government groups that help stop drug abuse showing members who they can ask for help if needed.

The meeting ended on a positive note, with students excited about what they learned and eager for future activities. Through this orientation, Barkada Kontra Droga hopes to help create a safe, drug-free school, build student leadership, and keep everyone working together.

On July 31, 2026, Malabon City Police officers conducted a seminar on Anti-Bullying and Drug Awareness with our guest speakers: PLT Marife P. Malinao, OIC, SCAS; PSSg Mark Jason M. Ong; PSSg Anna Marie Albay; and Pat Feliz Annjo P. Alvarez.

This seminar teaches us that bullying and illegal drugs are not something we should take lightly—they can affect families and also the entire community, not just one person/victim.

This seminar helps us to learn about the different types of bullying, the rights of every student, and the importance of building up the courage to speak up and ask for help. Moreover, they also discussed the harmful effects of illegal drug abuse and the ways to avoid them by choosing the right camaraderie, strengthening family relationships, and participating in various activities.

𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 | Think it through, safety starts with you!

As part of its commitment to promoting campus safety and preparedness, 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗮 (𝗕𝗞𝗗) of 𝗠𝗖𝗡𝗦𝗠𝗛𝗦 launched the "MalMasenyo, Alerto! Ligtas ang May Alam" awareness. A reminder to all our kabarkadang MalMasenyos to stay calm, alert, and informed during emergency situations by following the Vigilant (maintain a continuous, wary watch for danger), Alert (be quick and ready to notice or react to any sudden change), and Calm (control your breathing, assess the immediate threat, and focus on one small step at a time) protocol and keeping important emergency hotlines within reach.

Through this information campaign, BKD officers encourage students to understand the proper actions to do during critical incidents. Incase of emergency call the National Emergency Hotline (911), the Philippine National Police Malabon hotline, and the school's campus emergency contact numbers, ensuring that help is always accessible when needed.

With preparedness of safety, this campaign serves as a reminder that awareness is everyone's responsibility. BKD hopes that every MalMasenyo will remain alert, applying the safety measures shared, and contribute to building a more secure and safety school community.

“Wake up! It’s the first of the month!”

On July 1, 2026, 𝗠𝗖𝗡𝗦𝗠𝗛𝗦 students gathered with enthusiasm, as 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗮 (𝗕𝗞𝗗) conducted their third activity for Term 1 of interest club. The session focused on delivering impactful drug education and substance awareness for both junior and senior high school participants.

The activity was lead by 𝑩𝑲𝑫 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒄𝒐𝒍 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒓, Matthew Garcia and 𝑩𝑲𝑫 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝟏𝟎 𝑹𝒆𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆, Jamiel Jimenea. Beginning with an opening prayer, and followed by a lively game called Family Feud to make the learning both educational and highly interactive—turning it into a meaningful discussion on understanding substances, resisting peer pressure, and choosing your personal well-being. After, the facilitators guided and informed the students about drugs and its types, and the effects.

To conclude, the 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗮 family looks forward to keeping the participation alive. By fostering long-term engagement among the participants, they aim to ensure that Barkada Kontra Droga remains a supportive, motivating, and highly impactful space for everyone.

Syempre! On June 24, 2026 at 𝗠𝗖𝗡𝗦𝗠𝗛𝗦, 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗮 conducted their second activity of the year, drawing in students who are eager to explore the world of drug education. Headed by the 𝑩.𝑲.𝑫. 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕, Marian Amoncio, and guided by the 𝑩.𝑲.𝑫. 𝑨𝒅𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒓, Sir Ramir Delos Reyes, the session started with an opening prayer, followed by the discussion of the organizations' rules to promote a respectful environment.

To make the session both educational and interactive, facilitating officers proposed a Wordle activity that challenged each members knowledge. The day concluded with the distribution of a reflection paper, giving members the opportunity to express what they had learned, share their insights, and reflect on the importance of making informed and responsible choices.

In addition to this, the officers of 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗮 hopes to prolong the activeness of every member, maintaining a beneficial learning environment for both officers and members.
