In line with the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan this August, the Municipal Government of Makato will be conducting the โ€œGawad Parangal sa Kabataan 2026โ€™ an initiative that aims to recognize and honor outstanding young individuals who have brought pride and honor to the Municipality of Makato through their achievements, dedication, and exemplary contributions.

They are particularly seeking individuals who have excelled in various fields, including but not limited to education (such as passing licensure and board examinations and other remarkable academic accomplishments), sports, arts and culture, leadership, community service, and other endeavors that have brought honor and recognition to the Municipality of Makato from September 2025 to July 2026.

As agreed during last yearโ€™s implementation of the โ€œGawad Parangal sa Kabataan,โ€ recipients of academic honors during graduation (e.g., With Honors, With High Honors, and With Highest Honors) shall no longer be included in the list of nominees, as they have already been recognized by their respective schools during their graduation ceremonies. The same policy shall be observed for this yearโ€™s awarding activity.

This activity is intended exclusively for Tugasnon youth participants. (15-30 years old) Only individuals who fall within the prescribed youth age range are eligible. Kindly ensure that all names included in your submitted list meet the required age criteria.
