This Independence Day, we celebrate not only our nation’s freedom, but also the daily commitment to protect what truly matters—our people. As Occupational Health Nurses, our role reflects the true spirit of independence: empowering employees to work safely, stay healthy, and thrive without preventable risks or harm.

Just as our forebears fought for freedom and dignity, we advocate every day for a safe and healthy workplace where individuals can perform at their best. Through prevention, care, and education, we help build a workforce that is strong, resilient, and independent from illness and injury.

May this Independence Day remind us that a healthy workforce is the foundation of a strong nation. Malaya ang bayan kapag ligtas at malusog ang manggagawa.

Happy Independence Day!
