If you’ve walked past the Finman Building, you already know this icon. While Gigi isn’t technically a community cat (she’s proudly owned by the Finman Bldg team!), she is officially an honorary member of the COSV crew.

She’s always out and about, keeping watch, and masterfully hustling our feeders for extra treats. 🤫 Don’t let those big eyes fool you—she’s definitely already eaten!

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Arthur, one of our newest community cats here in Salcedo Village, passed away this morning.

Arthur only recently chose our neighborhood as his home, but in his short time here, he experienced the very best of humanity. The moment we discovered he was sick, a dedicated group of volunteers rallied instantly to make sure he was fed, given prompt medical care, and showered with gentle pets and comforting wipes during his clinic confinement.

Though his time with us was far too brief, Arthur didn’t leave this world unloved. Because of this community’s incredible compassion, his final days were filled with warmth, comfort, safety, and absolute dignity.

Thank you M and to every volunteer who stepped up to care for him. Rest easy, little buddy. You were family, and you will be missed.

🐾 It takes a village... literally.

They say it takes a village to raise a child, and in our neighborhood, the same rings true for our community cats.

Recently, our friend Owen was found under the weather. He had lost his appetite and was struggling with a nasty cold—a scary situation for a cat living on the streets. But Owen didn’t have to face it alone.

A massive thank you to Salcedo Village residents M & D, who stepped up without a second thought to ensure Owen got the feeding and medical care he desperately needed.

M & D, may your pockets never run dry! Thank you for embodying the true spirit of community. 💖

It’s a bittersweet goodbye to San Agustin Street’s favorite chatterbox, Eveready.

Named after the iconic battery mascot, this sleek black cat kept us all powered up with his nonstop stories and neighborhood rounds.

While we’ll miss his daily “chats,” we are so thrilled he’s found a safe, warm forever home where he can finally retire his street shoes.

Go power up your new life, Eveready! We’ll miss you! ⚡️🖤

While he’s a young 1-year-old and fully neutered, it’s clear he’s been skipping the cardio. Yogi has developed a glorious pear-shaped physique 🍐—less “Sleek Athlete,” more “Adorable Dumpling.”

Don’t let the shape fool you—he’s just built for maximum petting surface area!

Tuxedo Sam (TS) spent his morning melting hearts at the Bloom and Bark Market. He’s well-known around Chinabank Paseo for being the friendliest greeter in Makati.

They call it Labor Day, but our supervisor seems to think every day is “Labor for Me” Day. 💼🐾

After a long shift of meetings and spreadsheets, you thought you’d finally get to clock out. Turns out, you just transitioned from your 9-to-5 to your 5-to-9 🫡
