The Chief Justice Claudio Teehankee Center for the Rule of Law, in collaboration with the Ateneo School of Law and the Ateneo Graduate School of Business, will hold a timely and insightful forum entitled:

“Trade Wars and the Evolving Post-Globalization International Trading Order”

The forum will feature key presentations from:

Dr. Rafaelita Aldaba, former Undersecretary of the Department of Trade and Industry, on “Navigating a New Era of Reciprocal Tariffs: Strategic Implications on the Philippines and Selected ASEAN Economies.”

Ambassador Manuel A.J. Teehankee, who will share insights on current WTO discussions and the impact of unilateral tariff measures on the multilateral trading system.

A panel of experts and practitioners from the academe, industry, and policy circles will enrich the discussion, offering diverse perspectives on how these shifts in global trade dynamics affect businesses and economies, particularly in Southeast Asia.

THE TEEHANKEE CENTER FOR THE RULE OF LAW HAS COMMENCED ITS PLANNING FOR THE 2025 JUSTITIA MOOT COURT COMPETITION. 🏆

After a hiatus due to the pandemic, the annual moot court competition is making its return! The Claudio Teehankee Foundation is now in full preparation for Teehankee Cup 2025!

This nationwide competition brings together law schools from all over the country for a competitive yet friendly moot court competition between and among themselves. The winning school shall have the honor of brining home the Cup and have their name etched in the Cup’s brass plates, before turning it over to the next year’s Champion.

The Office of the Chairperson has issued a Notice announcing that the results of the 2024 Bar Examinations will be released on December 13, 2024 at the courtyard of the Supreme Court (SC) Main Building.

The results will be displayed on LED walls inside the SC courtyard and uploaded to the SC website and official social media pages (X/Twitter, Threads, Facebook, and Instagram). The YouTube and Facebook livestream links and QR codes of the results will also be shared through the SC's official communication channels.

The Justitia Moot Court returns to its usual November schedule starting 2023.
To all participating schools,
These past few years have been very difficult for everyone, and the Annual Moot Court Competition was no exception. Over the years, we kept in touch with our past and potential participants and, with the easing of government restrictions, we were hopeful to have had a face-to-face competition last January of this year.

However, unforeseen circumstances, including the extended renovation of the proposed venue (Ateneo Law School) and the lack of available manpower, constrained us to hold off the competition until later this year.

The good news is, we are confident that the Competition will proceed "full steam ahead" this year. We expect a bigger and more exciting competition featuring law schools throughout the country.

BIGGER AND BETTER. That's our battle cry for this year.

So we are announcing that the Justitia Moot Court Competition (face to face) will be slated on its usual November schedule this 2023.
