The ICRC does not verify, or guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content on digital platforms and does not endorse such content, including from individuals or profiles that claim to represent or be affiliated with the ICRC. On our channels, we prohibit any content that is obscene, defamatory, vulgar, libelous, threatening, harassing, or hateful. To maintain a respectful environment, we may monitor, hide, or remove comments that violate these rules or are otherwise offensive, misleading, or inappropriate. Fake and abusive website pages and scams using the ICRC’s identity or emblem may be reported through available channels, and legal action may be taken as needed. As a reminder, the misuse of the Red Cross, Red Crescent, or Red Crystal emblems are prohibited by law and may result in legal action and sanctions. By upholding these standards, we aim to create and protect a space for meaningful and respectful exchanges and count on your support to contribute accordingly.
