🏆 PSCS Clinches First Place at the 1st Philippine Federation of Cosmetic Surgeons' Interesting Case Presentation!

We are proud to share that the Philippine Society for Cosmetic Surgery (PSCS) emerged champion in the 1st Interesting Case Presentation hosted by the Philippine Federation of Cosmetic Surgeons. This prestigious event brought together training fellows from PSCS, PAAS, and PPAI, each showcasing remarkable and thought-provoking clinical cases.

Taking home first place was our very own Dr. Arjo de Castro, whose presentation,
“The Role of Serial Autologous Fat Grafting in the Functional and Aesthetic Rehabilitation of Hemifacial Atrophy,” captivated the panel for its depth, precision, and clinical relevance.

We also proudly recognize Dr. Tosca Guiao, PSCS training fellow, who represented the society with great poise and professionalism through her compelling presentation.

Special thanks and deepest appreciation go to our esteemed Authors and Consultants-in-Charge, Dr. Al Jaafar and Dr. Iya Molina, for their expert guidance, mentorship, and unwavering support throughout the preparation and presentation process.

A Night of Milestones and New Beginnings

On March 18, 2025, the Philippine Society for Cosmetic Surgery (PSCS) proudly held its Induction and Turnover Ceremony for the newly elected officers and board of directors at the prestigious Hilton Manila, Resorts World. The evening was made even more momentous with the presence of no less than the Philippine Medical Association (PMA) President, Dr. Hector Santos Jr., and Vice President, Dra. Luz Acosta-Barrientos, who both graced the occasion as our esteemed guests.

The event was attended by a strong assembly of PSCS members, and it also marked the official induction of new regular and specialty members into the society. Another highlight of the evening was the graduation and induction of our new fellows—an inspiring celebration of dedication, growth, and commitment to excellence in the field of cosmetic surgery.

Congratulations to our new President Dr. Bing Yumang and the rest of the Board.

Here’s to promising years ahead for PSCS as we continue to uphold the highest standards of care and innovation in our practice!
