🌹 MY SOUL PROCLAIMS THE GREATNESS OF THE LORD" ~ Luke 1:46

These words from Mary's Magnificat are more than a prayer.

They reveal the heart of a woman who said YES to God and then lived that YES through her life.

Mary didn't keep God's love to herself.

She carried Jesus.
She served Elizabeth.
She praised God.
She trusted Him.
And throughout her life, she kept leading people to her Son.

Now, here's the challenge for us:

If Mary can say YES to God's invitation, are we willing to say YES to our own journey with Him?

❤️ YES to learning more about our faith.
❤️ YES to growing deeper in our relationship with Jesus.
❤️ YES to being committed to our walk with God.
❤️ YES to bringing others closer to Christ.

And perhaps this is one beautiful way we can imitate Mama Mary:

Just as she brought Jesus to others, we can bring others to Jesus, too.

So don't simply hear about this new session.

REGISTER. ATTEND. AND BRING SOMEONE WITH YOU.🌹

Gospel Reflection

In this Sunday's Gospel, Jesus tells a story about a landowner who builds a vineyard, cares for it, and leases it to tenants before journeying away. When harvest time arrives, the tenants refuse to give the landowner his share of the crop; instead, they beat, stone, and kill the servants he sends, and eventually do the same to his son.

The tragic mistake of the tenants was forgetting their role. They began to view themselves as absolute owners rather than caretakers, letting greed and arrogance cloud their judgment.

This parable invites us to examine our own hearts:

• What parts of our lives our time, talents, wealth, or community do we claim absolute ownership over?

• Are we producing the good fruits of justice, mercy, and compassion, or are we hoarding God's blessings for selfish gain?

God does not call us to hoard or cling tightly to earthly power and possessions. Instead, He invites us to act as faithful co-workers in His vineyard, recognizing that everything we have is a grace to be shared with others, especially those on the margins.

Call to Action

• Shift from Owner to Steward: Identify one resource, skill, or material blessing you possess and explicitly dedicate it this week to helping someone in need.

• Perform an Act of Kindness: Reach out to a neighbor, coworker, or stranger facing a heavy burden and offer concrete, compassionate support.

• Practice Gratitude: Spend five minutes in quiet prayer today, thanking God for the gifts entrusted to your care and asking for the courage to share them generously without anxiety.

Imagine walking through the Holy Land…
Following the paths where Mary lived, loved, trusted, and remained close to Jesus.

Imagine standing in places where her YES changed everything.

Where she welcomed God's plan.
Where she carried Jesus to others.
Where she brought a need to Him.
Where she remained faithful when the journey became difficult.

But here's the beautiful surprise:

Mary's story is not just something we read about.
It is a journey we can enter.

And as we walk through the places that witnessed her life, we may begin to see something more…

✨ the woman behind the “Fiat.”
✨ the mother who always leads us to Jesus.
✨ the disciple who trusted God even when she didn't understand everything.
✨ the woman who stayed when the road led to the Cross.

What did Mary see?
What did she experience?
What can her life teach us about following Jesus?

This Sunday, September 27, is more than just another G39.

It’s a moment worth showing up for.
A moment to celebrate how far we’ve come, remember why we started, and listen to where God may be calling us next.

And we have TWO VERY SPECIAL REASONS for you to be there:

Two years ago, we began with one simple but powerful question:

“Where are you?” ~ Genesis 3:9

Since then, G39 has become a space where we can pause, reconnect, share our stories, laugh, pray, and discover that God has been searching for us all along.

Two years of journeys.
Two years of friendships.
Two years of answered prayers, struggles, breakthroughs, and encounters with God.

And now, we celebrate G39 Year 2!❤️

🌹 2. WE’RE CULMINATING OUR WISDOM JOURNEY WITH MAMA MARY

After journeying through Wisdom, we end by looking at a woman who beautifully showed us what it means to embrace God’s wisdom and God’s plan.

Mary didn’t have all the answers.

She simply trusted.

She said:
“Here I am.”
“Let it be done to me according to your word.” ~ Luke 1:38

Her YES changed everything.

And perhaps this is where our Wisdom journey becomes personal:

What is God asking of me now?
Where is He calling me to trust Him?
And am I ready to say, “Here I am”?

Maybe this Sunday isn't just about celebrating G39.

Maybe it’s about discovering what your next YES to God looks like.❤️

Reflection: The Radical Generosity of God

The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard challenges our human ideas of fairness and justice. From a worldly perspective, the workers who labored all day in the scorching heat had every right to expect more pay than those who worked for just one hour.

However, Jesus is not teaching an economic lesson; He is revealing the nature of God’s grace and mercy:

God’s Justice vs. Human Justice: God does not measure out His love based on a system of merit or points. He gives His grace fully and freely to everyone who answers His call, regardless of when they come to Him.

Overcoming Comparison and Envy: The landowner asks the disgruntled workers, “Are you envious because I am generous?” This calls us to examine our own hearts. Do we begrudge others when they receive God’s blessings, or do we rejoice in His mercy toward them?

An Invitation to Gratitude: Whether someone has lived a faithful life since childhood or experiences a radical conversion in their final moments; the reward, eternal life with Christ, is the same. We are called to be grateful that we are invited into the vineyard at all.

Based on today’s (Sunday’s) readings, here are a few practical ways to live out the Gospel message this week:

Examine your reactions: Notice if you feel envy or compare yourself to others when they succeed, and consciously choose to celebrate their blessings instead.

Practice radical generosity: Give someone a gift, a favor, or forgiveness that they might not necessarily “earn” or deserve, mirroring the landowner’s grace.

Reach out to a latecomer: Welcome someone new to your parish, workplace, or social group, ensuring they feel valued and included.

WISDOM IN CHRIST: When Hearts are Open, Jesus Listens

On the road to Emmaus, two disciples opened their hearts as they walked with Jesus. They shared their confusion, disappointments, and questions and Jesus simply walked with them, listened, and never judged.

Sometimes, this is what we need too.
Someone who will listen.
A safe space to open our hearts.
And most of all, Jesus in the midst of our conversations.

Last week, we were reminded that Wisdom in Christ is not only about knowing what to say, but knowing how to say it with truth, humility, and love.

And this Wednesday, we continue the journey. ❤️

The Gospel teaches that forgiveness should be limitless, just as God's mercy toward our own "unpayable" sins is boundless. A parable contrasts a master forgiving a servant's massive debt with that same servant harshly demanding a tiny sum from a fellow servant, illustrating how holding onto minor grievances is hypocritical. Ultimately, true forgiveness frees us from resentment and challenges us to extend to others the same healing compassion we have received from God.

❤️ TWO YEARS. ONE QUESTION:

Where are you now?

As we celebrate G39’s 2nd Anniversary, let’s pause and ask not only where we’ve been, but where God is leading us next.

This September, we gather with Mary, Seat of Wisdom, and her beautiful response to God’s call:

“Here I am.” ~ Luke 1:38

What a fitting way to close our module on Wisdom: God's Vision For Life! Through our journey, we’ve discovered wisdom in decisions, finances, relationships, speech, aging, peace of mind, and ultimately, Wisdom in Christ.

And Mary shows us what true wisdom looks like: a heart that listens, trusts, surrenders, and says YES to God.

Two years ago, G39 began with a question:

“San Na U?” ~ Genesis 3:9

Today, Mary gives us the answer:

“Here I am.”

Now, it’s our turn. ❤️

COME BACK TO THE ONE YOUR HEART HAS BEEN LOOKING FOR. ❤️

We spend so much of life searching for peace, for happiness, for security, for love, for something that will finally make us feel whole.

And then we discover Jesus.

The One who doesn't simply give us wisdom, but shows us how to live.
The One who teaches us to choose peace over being right, forgiveness over resentment, love over convenience, and surrender over control.

The more we know Him, the more we realize:

We were never meant to build our lives on the things of this world.
We were meant to build them on Christ.

And perhaps this is the beautiful gift of Wisdom in Christ:

W — Walk with Him.
I — Invite Him into our choices.
S — Surrender our worries.
D — Do everything with love.
O — Offer forgiveness and peace.
M — Make Him our foundation.

Simple. Everyday. Life-changing.

Because when Christ becomes our foundation, peace is possible, joy is possible, and harmony is possible even here, in this life.

What a blessing it is to know that the One our hearts have been searching for is already reaching out to us.

Jesus is our Wisdom.
Jesus is our Cornerstone.
Jesus is the One who completes us.
Jesus is our All in All. ❤️
