The Rotary Club of Makati Metro successfully held its 2026 Summer Sports Clinic from May 5–7 at San Isidro Village 2 Covered Court, Marikina City, in partnership with various Rotary clubs, community organizations, and with the support of Metrobank Foundation Inc.
Youth participants learned Arnis and Boxing from skilled trainers, including former Philippine Navy and National Team athletes. They also received snacks, vitamins, Bibles, certificates, and uniform T-shirts.
More than promoting sports and fitness, the clinic inspired discipline, teamwork, confidence, and positive values among the youth. Thank you to all partners, volunteers, and community leaders who made this meaningful project a success!

24 March 2026

The Rotary Club of Makati Metro, headed by Pres Nanding Parcon and PE Vic Dancel, in partnership with the GT Foundation, Ideal Vision, and the Rotary Club of Alabang, successfully distributed prescription eyeglasses to 359 students of the Sto. Niño Elementary School in Marikina.

These students from Grades 2, 4, 5, and 6 received their complete prescription eyeglasses, helping them see clearly and learn better in school.

To make the day even more special, the students were also given snacks and Gardenia loaf bread. 🍞

Alalay Kay Nanay: Healthy Liver & Breast Cancer Screening

Last February 21, 2026, at the School of Joy in Brgy. 105 Aroma Community, Tondo, Manila, the Rotary Club of Makati Metro, led by Pres. Fernando Parcon, brought hope and health awareness to 100 beneficiaries—mostly mothers.
Aside from receiving Jollibee lunch packs, Gardenia bread, 1 kilo of rice, clothing, food supplements for nursing mothers, and Bibles, the women were empowered through a meaningful health talk by Dr. Lauren Liechtenstein on the prevention of HPV, cervical cancer, and breast cancer. The session highlighted the importance of early screening, vaccination, and proactive health care.
This project was made possible in partnership with Zonta Club of Alabang, Philippine Cancer Society, Rotary Club of Alabang, and CMOG Navy, with the valuable support of Past Pres. Lior Liechtenstein and PE Vic Dancel.
Together, we continue to serve, uplift, and protect the health of our mothers. 💕
