A very memorable and informative Joint Meeting was hosted by the Rotary Club of Makati South last January 19, 2026, at the Herald Suites with their invited Guest Speaker, Rep. Chel Diokno, on the most controversial topic of “Corruption.” Attendees from our Club were our Unite for Good President Johnny Alegre, President-Elect Evelyn “Jaja” Mendoza and Past Pres. Stella Ignacio.

Our Christmas Fellowship last December 21, 2025 at the Milky Way Cafe in Makati. We truly had an amazing time reminiscing about good memories, celebrating over the best halo-halo and banana split ever, and exchanging gifts as well!

The Rotary Club of Makati Rockwell was one of the Sponsors of the block screening of “Wicked for Good” held at SM Bicutan Cinema theater last Nov 22, 2025 attended by UGP Johnny Alegre and spouse PP Jocelyn Alegre, PP Stella Ignacio and President Elect Evelyn Jaja Mendoza, who was also one of the organizers together with Angat BMG (Brgy Marcelo Green) to help in funding the education of HS Scholars (SARDOS).

The Donor Gratitude Luncheon last October 18, 2025 was a truly inspiring event where members and donors of Rotary Clubs from District 3830 celebrated their spirit of generosity to the Rotary Foundation. Distinguished Guest of Honor was Past Rotary International President and current TRF Trustee Chair Holger Knaack, accompanied by his spouse Susanne.
Apart from highlighting the Donors of the Rotary Foundation, there was also the showcasing of Recent and Ongoing Global Grant Projects from the different Clubs in the District including RC Makati Rockwell’s ongoing Global Grant (Teacher Literacy Enhancement Project) which was showcased and presented by our Immediate Past President Stella Ignacio.
It was a truly memorable day, indeed! It only goes to show that through the Rotary Foundation and the generosity of Rotarians and other partner organizations, we can continue life-changing and sustainable projects which can truly make a difference in one’s life and the whole world!
