Local & International Connection | Business | Friendship |Community Service Established in 1927 at England, Founder, Louis Marchesi, felt a need existed for a club where the young business men of the town could gather on a regular basis. Within a year of inception the membership of this Round Table had grown to 85

and interest was being shown in establishing Round Tables elsewhere. From a very early stage it was agreed that Round Table would be a non-religious, non-political club and this has continued to this day. Deriving both its title and its maxim from a speech made to the British Industries Fair in 1927 by the then Prince of Wales – ‘The young business and professional men of this country must get together round the table, ADOPT methods that have proved so sound in the past, ADAPT them to the changing needs of the times and wherever possible, IMPROVE them’. The phrase ADOPT, ADAPT, IMPROVE is a key facet of the organization and is often seen on Round Table literature and regalia. The design of the Round Table emblem is, however, an adaptation of the table which hangs in the Great Hall in Wi******er. Although this is claimed to be the Round Table of the mythical court of King Arthur, it is in fact a representation which was made in the 13th century. Today, we count 39.000 members in more than 60 different countries! Together we stand for fun and friendship beyond any border and we stand for the service we do towards our communities and helping the less fortunate.

A huge thank you to Apotheca Integrative Pharmacy for their generous donation as part of the Back-to-School Program of Round Table Philippines implemented by Round Table Makati 1.

In support of the children in need from the Duyan Foundation, we annually help around 200 children with immune deficiencies and orphans to prepare for the upcoming school year by providing school uniforms and stationery supplies.

We are very grateful that Apotheca Integrative Pharmacy is supporting this meaningful cause. A new chapter is written. Today, history is made in Cebu!

Round Table Philippines is incredibly proud and excited to announce that this afternoon, November 15, 2025, we will officially charter Round Table 5 Cebu City!

After months of dedication, hard work, and building the foundations of fellowship, we are honored to welcome a new generation of leaders from the Queen City of the South into our national and international family.

The team is assembled: National President Gottfried Lumpi is ready and IRO Erik Feustel has officially landed in Cebu for the Round Table 5 Cebu City Charter! The official certificates are signed, the charter is prepared, and the regalia is ready. This is a monumental day for our organization, symbolizing our growth, our commitment to service, and the vibrant future of Tabling in the Philippines.

They have set some massive personal goals... and some even bigger penalties.
