In the midst of lifeโ€™s challenges and uncertainties, we are reminded that joy is a choice rooted in hope and faith. Through this Youth Recollection, our young people were invited to look beyond their struggles, trust in Godโ€™s presence, and discover the joy that comes from living with hope and optimism.

Led by ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ. ๐—๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ธ ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ผ, ๐—ฆ๐——๐—•, the recollection became a meaningful time of reflection, prayer, sharing, and rediscovering what it means to choose joy even when life is not always easy.

We were also blessed by the presence of our ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ต ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ฌ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜๐—ต ๐——๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฟ, ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ. ๐—™๐—ฟ. ๐—๐—ฎ๐—ธ๐—ฒ ๐—Ÿ๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐˜‡, ๐—ฆ๐——๐—•, and our ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ฌ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜๐—ต ๐——๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ผ๐—ฟ, ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ. ๐—™๐—ฟ. ๐—˜๐—น๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ผ ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜๐—ผ๐˜€, ๐—ฆ๐——๐—•, whose presence and ministry accompanied our young people throughout the gathering.

On 21 August 2026, the Salesian Community gathered in thanksgiving and joyful celebration of the ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿฑ๐˜๐—ต ๐—”๐—ป๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜† ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฒ๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฃ๐—ต๐—ถ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ฝ๐—ฝ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜€.

Led by our Provincial Superior of the Salesians of Don Bosco โ€“ FIN, ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ. ๐—™๐—ฟ. ๐—ฅ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—น๐—ผ ๐—๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜€, ๐—ฆ๐——๐—•, the celebration became a meaningful occasion to give thanks for 75 years of Godโ€™s grace, faith, mission, and loving presence among the Filipino people especially the young.

Guided by the theme โ€œ๐—˜๐—ป๐—ธ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—น๐—ฒ, ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ธ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—น๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—™๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—ข๐˜‚๐—ฟ ๐—ฆ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—น,โ€ we were reminded to keep alive the fire that has sustained the Salesian mission throughout the years: the fire of faith, the fire of service, and the fire of Don Boscoโ€™s passionate love for the young.

As we celebrate this historic milestone, may we continue to carry this fire in our hearts and allow it to inspire us to become faithful witnesses of the Salesian mission.

Happening now! Our Animators and Leaders from the Parish Youth Ministry are joining fellow young people, animators, and leaders from different Salesian Settings for the Salesian Youth aNd Animatorsโ€™ Gathering (SYNAG) @75.

As we celebrate 75 years of Salesian presence in the Philippines, we gather in gratitude for the mission entrusted to us, rekindle the fire within us, and renew our commitment to journey with the young.

United in the spirit of Don Bosco, may we continue to be bearers of lightโ€”witnesses of faith, hope, and service to the young people we are called to serve.
