Ayala Young Leaders

Ayala Young Leaders The official page of the Ayala Young Leaders. The Ayala Young Leaders Congress is a concrete expression of the Ayala Group’s commitment to national development.

It is the keystone of “Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders”, the youth leadership development program launched in 1998 by the Ayala group of companies as a strategic investment in the youth, and ultimately, in the future of the country. Ayala’s dream is to nurture a community and form a network of values-based and principled Filipino leaders committed passionately to nation-building and to uplifting the lives of their fellow Filipinos. The Ayala Young Leaders program is made possible through the continued support of the Ayala Group. Through its investment in leadership development—and the time, expertise, and commitment shared by its people as mentors, facilitators, coaches, interviewers, and selection process volunteers—it helps shape the next generation of Filipino leaders building a future where more people and communities can thrive.

Ayala Young Leaders 2026 fellows gathered for the Leadership Showcase, where they presented insights, experiences, and leadership innovations developed throughout their fellowship journey. The presentations reflected months of learning and collaboration, offering fellows an opportunity to share how their understanding of leadership has evolved through the program.

The showcase was followed by a Fireside Chat at SEDA BGC featuring distinguished leaders from the Ayala Group and beyond, including Martha Sazon, President and CEO of GCash. Moderated by Jeffrey Tarayao, President of One Meralco Foundation and an AYL 2000 alumnus, the discussion explored purpose-driven leadership, resilience, navigating complexity, and creating meaningful impact across sectors, encouraging fellows to reflect on their own leadership journeys and the role they can play in shaping the future

After months of learning, reflection, and shared experiences, the fellows of Ayala Young Leaders 2026 gathered for their culmination activities – marking the conclusion of one chapter and the beginning of another in their leadership journeys.

Throughout the fellowship, participants engaged with leaders from different sectors, explored pressing social issues, strengthened their understanding of steward leadership, and built lasting relationships with peers from across the country.

The culmination brought together fellows, alumni, mentors, volunteers, and partners through a series of activities designed to celebrate their growth and deepen their commitment to service, stewardship, and nation-building.

As they join a growing community of Ayala Young Leaders and ATLAS alumni, the fellows carry forward a shared responsibility: to lead with purpose, work with others, and contribute to the communities and causes they care about.

The questions we ask shape the conversations we have and the future we build.

Instead of asking:
"What's the quickest solution?"
Try asking:
"What are we trying to achieve in the long run?"

Instead of asking:
"What happened?"
Try asking:
"What can we learn and what should we do differently next time?"

Leadership doesn't just begin with better answers, it also begins with better questions.

Reflection: What's one question you've started asking differently?

Every thriving community begins with leaders who choose to serve.

At the heart of Ayala Foundation's 65th Anniversary logo is the compass—a symbol of direction, purpose, and possibility. It reflects our commitment to developing values-driven leaders who can navigate complexity, inspire collective action, and help shape a better future for the communities they serve.

As we celebrate 65 years of impact, we continue investing in the next generation of steward leaders.

Topic Tuesdays and Topic Thursdays are back.
Every conversation is an opportunity to learn, reflect, and grow.

This week's topic: Systems Thinking
Complex challenges rarely have simple solutions. Whether it's education, climate, or public health, today's issues are interconnected.

Systems thinking encourages us to look beyond individual problems and understand the patterns, relationships, and structures that shape them. By seeing the bigger picture, we can design solutions that create lasting impact.

Systems thinking invites us to ask:
• What patterns are creating this?
• What am I not seeing when I focus only on the immediate problem?

Behind every young leader is a community that chose to invest their time, wisdom, and heart.

AYL is made possible by facilitators who create spaces where learning can flourish, mentors who generously share their journeys, coaches who challenge fellows to grow, and volunteers who work behind the scenes to make every learning experience possible.

Leadership is not developed in isolation, it is nurtured through conversations, honest feedback, encouragement, and people who believe in your potential long before you fully see it yourself.

To every facilitator, mentor, coach, volunteer, and partner who journey with our fellows: thank you for helping shape the next generation of steward leaders.

Your impact goes far beyond the sessions you facilitated, it lives on in every leader who chooses to serve others.
