APPEAL FOR HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE FOR FLOOD-AFFECTED COMMUNITIES IN NEPAL

Dear FAIM Alumni,

Greetings from the Federation of AIM Alumni Associations of AIM (FAIM)!

On August 26, 2026, a sudden and devastating flood struck Nepal, causing widespread destruction and severe hardship to thousands of people in affected communities. We are deeply saddened by this tragic event, and our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected.

In response to the appeal for humanitarian assistance in Nepal, we are reaching out to our AIM Alumni community for financial support. Any amount you can give, no matter how small, will help provide much-needed assistance and alleviate the difficult conditions faced by the flood-affected communities.

Nominations for the 2027 Triple A are now being accepted!

Each year, the Federation of Asian Institute of Management Alumni Associations, Inc. (FAIM), with the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), pays tribute to alumni with excellent performance in their various professional, entrepreneurial, or development-oriented fields.

The basic criteria for selection include the following:
1. The achievement of a significant professional accomplishment
2. Contribution to the betterment of the managerial profession
3. Contribution to the advancement of entrepreneurship or promotion of people's empowerment and sustainable development
4. High degree of achievement of personal excellence
5. Strong contribution to the upliftment of less privileged members of society.

All bona fide AIM alumni may be nominated for the award.

Nominations for this year should ideally be submitted to the respective AIM alumni country chapter. Nominations filed directly with the FAIM Secretariat shall also be accepted and accordingly referred for initial screening. Each Country chapter selects the best qualified nominee(s) and submits the accomplished nomination forms to the FAIM Secretariat based in AIM, Philippines, on or before 5:00PM of September 15, 2026.

It is with sadness that we inform the AIM Alumni Community of the death of our beloved professor, Dr. Eduardo "Ned" Roberto on August 09, 2026.

His wake will be held at the Funeraria Paz, Manila Memorial Park, Sucat Paranaque from Tuesday, August 11 to Thursday, August 13 between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM.

As we offer our deepest condolences to the Roberto family, we request everyone to please pray for the repose of the soul of Dr. Ned and for the Lord to shower His graces on his family in this time of sorrow.

Dr. Ned, you will be missed. Rest in peace with the Lord, our Creator.
