“Your Land, Our Land” opens as a prelude to the Camera Club of the Philippines Centennial, marking nearly a century of looking at the country through photography.

The exhibition gathers images of landscapes that speak not only of place, but of memory, history, and the continuing relationship between Filipinos and the land they inhabit. From mountains and coastlines to quiet horizons, these images reflect how photography continues to shape the way we see home.

Join us on June 6, 2026, 5:30 PM at Century City Mall, Makati City, as we begin the countdown to 100 years of camaraderie through photography.

"From Our Eyes: Indigenous Peoples documenting the Self” invites CCP members and guests to reflect on photography as a means of self-representation and community storytelling.

To be led by photographer and IP heritage advocate George Tapan, the session explores the importance of teaching photography to Indigenous Peoples and how images made from within communities carry their own ways of seeing and speaking.

A century in the making continues.

From a gathering of visionaries in 1928, the Camera Club of the Philippines grew into a community bound by photography, friendship, and shared purpose. Across generations, that spirit has endured through every image, every story, and every member who carried the tradition forward.

On June 6, we take another step toward our Centennial Year.

A legacy comes into focus.

From Image to Print: A Workshop on Fine Art Printing for Museums, Galleries, and Collections

The Camera Club of the Philippines, through CCP Vision Lab, recently held "From Image to Print," a workshop led by Red Ognita Red Ognita on the role of fine art printing within exhibition, archival, and collection practice. Held in preparation for the upcoming CCP Landscapes Exhibition this June at Century City Mall, the program forms part of the Club’s continuing road to the CCP Centennial in 2028.

Drawing from years of professional experience in printing and image production, Ognita guided participants through the considerations involved in preparing photographs for physical presentation. Discussions covered color management, paper selection, image cleanup, tonal control, framing preparation, and the realities of editioning and pricing photographic work.

Participants handled a wide range of prints to better understand the physical qualities of inks, papers, and presentation materials. The session was both a technical workshop and an open exchange on image-making, critique, and the importance of seeing photographs as objects meant to exist in physical space.

“It doesn’t matter if it sells or not,” Ognita shared. “You should print something you can be proud of.”

CCP Vision Lab is the club-sanctioned sandbox program of the Camera Club of the Philippines, where other modes, techniques, and ways of thinking about photography are explored through workshops, critiques, screenings, talks, interviews, and forums. Running parallel to the Club’s regular programming, Vision Lab aims to sustain curiosity, experimentation, and continuing photographic education in the Philippines.

This session asks a hard question:
Why has there never been a photographer recognized under the Order of National Artists of the Philippines in Visual Arts?

Others have been recognized. Even photographers have been nominated in the past. But it never happened. Why?

What does it really take to be a National Artist?
Who decides? Does it even matter?

In a time when everyone can call themselves a photographer, what kind of work deserves that level of recognition?

And what does “National” even mean today?

This is not just about awards. It is about what we choose to value and what that says about us as a nation.
