On this day, we remember the life of the late Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr., whose unwavering courage, love for the Filipino people, and genuine commitment to the truth continue to inspire generations. May his life and works be a reminder that sincere patriotism is reflected not only in moments of great bravery, but also in the choices we make each day to serve others, uphold what is right, and work towards a better nation. ๐Ÿ™๏ธ

Though the Feast of the Assumption is observed on August 15, our Assumption community celebrates this special occasion by coming together in faith, gratitude, and devotion to Mary. This celebration serves as a meaningful reminder of our shared identity, values, and faith as one Assumption community.ย 

With hearts united in faith, we reflected on the Blessed Virgin Maryโ€™s faithful journey and her glorious entrance into Heaven. May her life continue to serve as a beautiful testament to faithful obedience and enduring love for God. Today is a reminder that self-care isnโ€™t just a trend or a reward after being productive, letโ€™s treat it as an intentional practice of looking after ourselves, even in the smallest ways. While there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to self-care, taking a little moment to simply pause and listen to what you need can surely go a long way. ๐ŸŒฑ

To our fellow Psyches, as we spend long hours learning about human behavior, emotions, and mental well-being, letโ€™s not forget to extend that same compassion and effort to ourselves. Self-care doesnโ€™t have to be grand and elaborate.
