University of Makati School of Law Government

The most lasting lessons are not always the ones written in our notes. They are often found in the questions that make us reconsider an answer, the discussions that stay with us after class, and the standards we gradually learn to hold ourselves to.

Today, we recognize the professors of the University of Makati School of Law—for the time and effort they invest in teaching, for the confidence they place in their students, and for setting expectations that continually push us to think carefully, work deliberately, and grow into the responsibilities ahead.

Happy World Teachers’ Day to the faculty of UMak SOL. 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

LOOK: As part of its efforts to provide students with practical exposure to law and governance, the second-year students of the University of Makati School of Law attended the Regular Session of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Makati on September 14, 2026, at the Makati City Session Hall.

The students observed the conduct of local legislative proceedings, including the Council’s deliberations, procedures, and decision-making processes.

They also had the opportunity to interact with members of the Makati City Council and Makati City Mayor Nancy Binay, providing them with a better understanding of the functions and responsibilities of local government officials.

The chapter closes, but the story stays.

To our outgoing SOLGov Officers, A.Y. 2025–2026 — thank you for your initiative, commitment to service, willingness to step up, and all the little things that made the term what it was.

It was a good term. A meaningful one. And somehow, we made it through.

As you pass the torch, may you carry with you the memories, lessons, and friendships this chapter gave you.

Thank you for serving. May the work you started continue to speak for itself. 💜
