May 21-22, 2026 | Virtual via Zoom. The Philippine Society for Quality (PSQ) proudly recognizes the contribution of PSQ Advisory Council Vice Chair, Engr. Angelica C. Fraginal, who served as resource speaker and facilitator for the Philippine Quality Award (PQA) Application Development Course for the Public Sector, conducted on May 21–22, 2026, via Zoom. The program was organized by the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) as part of its continuing efforts to strengthen organizational excellence across government institutions.

The two-day course was designed to deepen participants’ understanding of the PQA Criteria, enhance their capability in preparing quality application reports, and guide organizations in aligning their systems and processes toward performance excellence. Participants were introduced to key concepts in organizational assessment, including identifying strengths and opportunities for improvement, aligning results, and integrating systems, using the ADLI (Approach, Deployment, Learning, and Integration) and LTCI (Levels, Trends, Comparisons, and Integration) evaluation dimensions.

The Philippine Quality Award (PQA), the country’s highest recognition for organizational performance excellence, serves as a comprehensive framework that promotes quality management, innovation, sustainability, customer focus, workforce engagement, and results-driven leadership among public- and private-sector organizations. Beyond recognition, the PQA framework enables organizations to continuously improve and contribute meaningfully to national development.

PSQ commends Engr. Fraginal for her continued dedication to advancing quality and organizational excellence in the Philippines. Through initiatives such as this, quality professionals and leaders help build stronger institutions, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and further strengthen the nation’s quality movement.

June 11, 2026 | Virtual via Zoom. The Philippine Society for Quality (PSQ) is pleased to share that Dr. Rey B. Fremista, PSQ Advisory Council Chair, was one of the featured speakers at the webinar "Leadership Perspectives: Insights from Today's Leaders," organized by the MBA Executive Class of 2026 of AMA University under the leadership of Dr. Peter Dumanig.

The virtual event brought together leaders, professionals, students, and aspiring executives for an afternoon of learning and meaningful discussions on contemporary leadership. Joining Dr. Fremista in the distinguished lineup of speakers were a media personality, a leadership and faith-based speaker, and a motivational speaker. The event also featured special participation by national government leaders.

During his session, Dr. Fremista presented "The Leadership Operating System: What 80 Leadership Pulse Insights Reveal About Leading in 2026." Drawing on 80 leadership pulse insights and over 3,900 votes from professionals across various industries, he shared emerging leadership trends and the capabilities leaders must cultivate to remain effective in a rapidly evolving environment.

A central message from his presentation was that great leaders are not measured solely by the results they achieve, but by the number of people they help grow, develop, and succeed. He also introduced the MindGrit Leadership Model, which illustrates how leadership effectiveness evolves from self-leadership to emotional leadership, team leadership, adaptive leadership, and ultimately innovation leadership.

The webinar served as an important platform to promote leadership excellence and reinforce the role of leaders in shaping resilient organizations and future-ready workplaces.

PSQ congratulates Dr. Fremista and the AMA University MBA Executive Class for a successful event and for advancing meaningful conversations on leadership, organizational excellence, and continuous improvement.
