Leading Beyond Self, Loving Without Limits.
Congratulations to Ms. Jane Walker, MBE, recipient of the 2026 Saint Teresa of Calcutta Award!
For three decades, Ms. Walker has embodied a life of leading beyond self—working alongside the team of Upskills+ Foundation, Inc., and children and families from the dumpsite communities of Tondo, Manila, and Irisan, Baguio, as well as communities in Navotas, Bulacan, and Naic, Cavite. Through education, healthcare, livelihood, and community support, their work has helped create pathways beyond child labor and generational poverty toward greater opportunity and more dignified lives.
The AY Foundation, in partnership with JCI Manila, formally conferred the award on September 29 in recognition of her enduring humanitarian service and compassion without limits.
We sincerely appreciate all our partners and everyone who contributed to the success of this year’s Search and Awarding Ceremonies.
