SOCIETY OF YOUNG FILIPINO SPEAKERS
Motivational speakers come in many shapes and sizes. They can range anywhere from downright serious to funny as hell. And you know what else? They can also come in the form of YOUNG PEOPLE. There is no monopoly in inspiration and motivation. One does not have to be a generation older or have a long list of credentials in order to be invited to speak on stage to
motivate the youth. Even young people have their own experiences, stories and ideas to share that can ignite dreams and passions in their fellow youth. Furthermore, they are a source of fresh perspective, eager to share, and are still in the trenches of self-discovery… which will empower other young people to begin their own journey towards self-development. WHO WE ARE
The Society of Young Filipino Speakers is a network of Filipino motivational speakers ages 15-30, who inform, inspire, involve and empower the Filipino youth through motivational speaking. With its PAY IT FORWARD principle, its mission is to hone young people to become an inspiration to their fellow youth. The Society of Young Filipino Speakers is founded by Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales – veteran voice artist and radio broadcaster, internationally-awarded youth advocate, author, and a highly sought-after voice coach, motivational speaker and trainer. Since the age of 18, Pocholo has been speaking to young people, teaching them skills such as public speaking, communication, personal branding, and inspiring them to live a life of passion and purpose. Pocholo has traveled to more than 50 provinces all over the Philippines to speak in seminars, events, and commencement exercises. As the founder of Voice of the Youth Network – the largest volunteer youth media organization in the Philippines – Pocholo’s extensive experience of working with young people enabled him to understand their lifestyle, mindset and behaviors, and develop them to become agents of positive social change. The Society of Young Filipino Speakers is powered by Creativoices Productions, the country’s leading online voiceover services company, owned and managed by Pocholo himself. It is a partner of the following organizations founded by Pocholo:
‐ Microphone Club, an organization of Filipino professional mic users (hosts, broadcasters, voice artists, public speakers, etc.) designed to advocate the highest ideals and practices of the art of speaking behind the microphone.
‐ Voice Care Philippines, an organization whose mission is to equip professional voice users with knowledge and tools to save their voice and save their career
‐ Voice of the Youth Network, a volunteer organization that informs, inspires, involves, and empowers the Filipino youth through broadcast media and ICT
