The Rotaract Club of Brgy Sta Cruz, proudly celebrating 17 years of service, was chartered on September 30, 2008 through the sponsorship of the Rotary Club of Makati North. Today, the club is composed of 20 active members and 7 dedicated Rotaract trainees, continuing its commitment to leadership, fellowship, and community development. Regular club meetings are held every third Sunday of the month,

either via Zoom or in person, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 NN. On March 22, 2026, the Rotaract Club of Brgy Sta Cruz, together with our incredible partners, brought Project Play it Forward: Move for Inclusion to life at Villar Gymnasium (Manuela 4-C), Las Piรฑas City. ๐Ÿ’™ With the goal of promoting inclusion and community engagement, the event created a safe and joyful space for children with special needs to participate in sports and physical activities, proving that play can be a powerful bridge for empathy and connection.

But beyond the games and cheers (and yes, the energy was unmatched ๐ŸŽ‰), the day was all about shared experiences. The event opened with a vibrant parade of players alongside their teams and partner organizations, setting the tone for a celebration of inclusivity. Throughout the program, children were guided by volunteer therapists in a series of accessible and engaging games, with parents and volunteers joining in the fun every step of the way. Each game ended with smiles and recognition, as teams received prizes and every participant was awarded medals and trophies because every effort deserved to be celebrated.

It was more than just a sports event. It was a space where families felt seen, children felt empowered, and communities came together with intention and heart. The day closed with the distribution of loot bags for each family, a small token to remember a day filled with laughter, connection, and notable moments.

To our partners, the Rotary Club of Makati North, Rotary Club of Alabang, Rotaract Sunvalley Sunrise, Rotaract Club of Paseo de Roxas, Rotaract Club of Makati Jose P. Rizal, Rotary Club of Paraรฑaque St. Andrews, Rotary Community Corps of Brgy Sta Cruz, Perpetual Help โ€“ Medical Center Las Piรฑas, Gardenia, and Universal Robina Corporation, thank you for making this initiative possible. Your support helped turn this vision into a truly inclusive and impactful experience.

Hereโ€™s to creating spaces where everyone belongs, celebrating every small win, and moving forward together. ๐Ÿ’ซ

At the request of the school and following a careful assessment of its needs, the Rotary Club of Makati North, together with its partners in service, the Rotaract Club of Brgy Sta Cruz and the Rotary Community Corps of Brgy Sta Cruz, came together to rehabilitate the water stations located at the front of the school.

But this effort went beyond simple repairs. Through repainting the facilities and installing visible Rotary values, the project transformed these shared spaces into both functional and meaningful areas for the students. What was once overlooked is now a renewed source of pride and purpose within the school community.

More importantly, the initiative ensures that students continue to have access to clean, safe, and readily available water, supporting not just their daily needs, but their overall well-being and learning environment.

A simple act of service, yet one that flows into something greater: care, sustainability, and a shared commitment to making everyday spaces better for the next generation.

On March 21, 2026, the Rotaract Club of Brgy Sta Cruz, together with the Rotary Club of Makati North and the Rotary Community Corps of Brgy Sta Cruz, conducted Project SELF (Sustaining and Empowering Livelihood Fulfillment) at the The Annunciation Parish in General Trias, Cavite. ๐ŸŒฑ With many mothers seeking additional sources of income for their households, the project served as a valuable initiative to equip them with practical, income-generating skills through accessible and hands-on learning.

But the session went beyond simply introducing a livelihood idea. Participants were guided through step-by-step demonstrations of tocino and embutido making, allowing them to clearly understand the process from preparation to cooking. They were also able to taste the finished products, helping them better visualize the quality and outcome. Each participant received a kit containing ingredients and basic materials, enabling them to continue practicing on their own after the session. ๐Ÿณ

What stood out most was the participantsโ€™ response after the activity. Many expressed interest in learning product costing, showing their intent to turn these skills into a sustainable source of income. With the parish now coordinating potential selling opportunities, the project continues to move forward beyond a one-day initiativeโ€”supporting participants as they take the next steps toward livelihood. ๐Ÿ“Š

A simple but purposeful effort. One that creates space for growth, builds confidence, and opens opportunities for long-term sustainability. โœจ

Last March 14, the Rotaract Club of Brgy Sta Cruz, together with the Interact Club of Maximo Estrella Senior High School and the Rotary Community Corps of Brgy Sta Cruz, conducted Be the BOSS: Bringing Out Student Solidarity, an internet literacy seminar for senior high school students. The initiative aimed to promote responsible digital citizenship by equipping participants with the skills to navigate online information critically and responsibly.

But beyond the discussions, the session emphasized active participation and real-world application. Students were introduced to key concepts on misinformation and source credibility through brief yet focused discussions, followed by interactive activities that allowed them to practice fact-checking and evaluating online content. The collaborative nature of the activities encouraged engagement, as participants applied what they learned in a shared learning environment. ๐Ÿ”

The seminar concluded with the distribution of snacks, marking the successful ex*****on of a practical and engaging initiative. More importantly, it left students with a stronger awareness of their role in creating a more informed and responsible online community. ๐ŸŒ

With college fast approaching for the senior high school students of Maximo Estrella Senior High School, the Career Awareness Seminar served as an important step in helping them prepare for the transition ahead. ๐ŸŽ“ The project aimed to guide students in navigating what to expect in college while also opening their minds to the wide range of career paths they can pursue.

But beyond preparation, the seminar created space for reflection and possibility. The session began with an insightful discussion on college life, giving students a more grounded and realistic glimpse of what lies ahead. This was followed by speakers sharing their diverse career journeys from social work, law, and teaching, to human resources, showing that career paths are not always linear, but shaped over time through experiences and choices. ๐Ÿงญ

What made the seminar even more memorable was that the speakers came from the projectโ€™s partner organizations, reflecting a shared commitment to supporting the studentsโ€™ future and education. Their stories not only informed, but also reassured students that there is no single path to success.

The event concluded with light snacks, leaving students not only informed but also inspired to take their next steps with greater confidence. ๐ŸŒŸ A big step forward toward clarity, purpose, and the journey ahead. โœจ

With disasters happening more frequently and often without warning, preparedness has never been more crucial. ๐ŸŒช๏ธ Last [insert date if you want], the Rotaract Club of Brgy Sta Cruz, together with the Rotary Club of J.P. Rizal, Rotary Club of Makati North, Rotary Community Corps of Brgy Sta Cruz, Interact Club of Maximo Estrella Senior High School, and the Philippine Red Cross, conducted a Disaster Preparedness Seminar for senior high school students, arming them with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively in emergencies.

The seminar combined practical discussions with hands-on training, covering personal readiness, family safety, and securing homes and schools, alongside Basic Life Support practice. This approach allowed students not just to learn essential concepts, but also to actively apply them in real-life scenarios. ๐Ÿฉบ

Students were highly engaged throughout the session, demonstrating enthusiasm and growing confidence in their ability to respond and assist others during emergencies. The initiative concluded with the turnover of emergency kits to the school, plus the distribution of snacks and whistles for each student. Small but useful tools that reinforce preparedness and safety. ๐ŸŽ’

A timely reminder that knowledge, practice, and readiness can truly make a difference when it matters most. โœจ
