During the AI boot camp, participants also got hands-on with vibe coding, using AI to help them kick-start the development of their own solution.

The heavy rain could not dampen the vibrant energy at the street dancing, as Cagayan de Oro came together to celebrate its annual fiesta, with support from Smart and its value brand TNT.

During the Higalaay Grand Launching, TNT ambassador Darren Espanto brought excitement to the celebration with a special mini concert. Key events were streamed live so that more Kagay-anons could enjoy the events online.

As part of the festivities, TNT highlighted Saya All 99, powered by its 5G Pangmalakasang Network, giving festival-goers more ways to stay connected, share their Higalaay moments, and enjoy more Saya wherever they are.

With the PLDT and Smart Communications, Inc. School-in-a-Bag, students at Sto. Tomas Elementary School in Baguio City are exploring lessons through interactive apps and digital tools — making learning more engaging and giving those who are struggling another way to keep up.

More than 70 youth from the Municipality of Aloguinsan in Cebu strengthened their digital literacy through a digital citizenship seminar organized by SK Poblacion, Aloguinsan, in partnership with PLDT and Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart). Held as part of the celebration, the activity empowered participants to become responsible digital citizens and advocates of internet safety in their community.

The seminar covered the evolving digital threat landscape, equipping participants with practical tips to identify and avoid online scams, including emerging risks such as deepfakes. It also highlighted the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI), demonstrating how AI tools can support everyday academic and personal tasks, including research, transcription, and content creation.

This effort is part of PLDT and Smart’s pillar, which aims to help build safer digital communities by equipping Filipinos, including the youth, with the knowledge to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
