In celebration of Women’s Month, Asia Society Philippines in partnership with Manila House will present “𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗲,” a panel discussion convening women ambassadors in the Philippines alongside distinguished women business leaders. Together, they will share their professional journeys, insights, and perspectives on the evolving role of women at the intersection of diplomacy, commerce, and economic leadership.

Women have long played a vital role in diplomacy across bilateral and multilateral platforms, contributing to development cooperation, humanitarian engagement, cultural exchange, and global governance. At the same time, women in business are leading industries, expanding markets, advancing innovation, and shaping corporate strategies that influence regional and global economies. Increasingly, the partnership between these spheres, government and enterprise, defines how nations compete, cooperate, and thrive.

The program highlights women’s participation in international relations and their growing influence not only in shaping policy and advancing negotiations, but also in driving economic diplomacy, forging strategic public–private partnerships, strengthening trade and investment flows, and fostering sustainable and inclusive growth across borders.

Light refreshments will be served.
