FIM Asia is heading to the Korea International Circuit for the 2026 Korea World Bike Festival & GP7 Asia Challenge Cup on October 17–18, 2026! 🇰🇷⚡
Co-organized with FOMS, this landmark event gives rising talent a clear pathway to world-stage competitions like Moto3 and WorldSBK.
The Level Playing Field 🏍️

Every rider in the GP7 Asia Challenge Cup competes on identical OHVALE GP-7 race bikes:

Random Bike Draw: Allocated Friday morning—pure rider skill, zero mechanical advantages.

Strict Stock Specs: No engine, ECU, or frame modifications allowed.

Friday: Registration, tech checks & 3 Free Practice sessions
Saturday: Qualifying + Legend Cup (10 Laps) & SB1000/ST1000 (16 Laps)
Sunday (Main Race Day):

A flawless weekend for Japan’s Ayane Kamakari (MFJ) as she sweeps both races to claim victory at the 2026 FIM Asia Women’s Cup of Circuit Racing (ACCR) Thailand Round at Thailand Circuit, Nakhonchaisri! 🏍️💨
Korea’s Minchae Kim (FOMS) put on a brilliant display of consistency with a dual 2nd-place finish to capture 2nd overall, while India’s Kumaresan Jagathis (FMSCI) rounded out the podium in 3rd. 🥉🎉

At 33, Anupab Sarmoon is proving that race craft can be just as powerful as raw speed. After claiming his first victory of the season in Mandalika, the YAMAHA THAILAND RACING TEAM rider heads to Sepang for Round 5 of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship 2026 with serious championship momentum.

Currently sitting third in the standings—tied for second and just 9 points from the championship lead—Anupab is keeping his approach simple: stay calm, race smart, and fight for maximum points. 💪

🏁 2026 GP7 Asia Challenge — Selection Results Announced!

FIM Asia, together with OHVALE and FOMS Korea, has officially completed the rider selection process for the 2026 GP7 Asia Challenge, taking place on October 17–18, 2026, at the Korea International Circuit. 🇰🇷

After reviewing applications from talented young riders across the globe, 13 riders have been selected, with two additional riders placed on the official reserve list.

📩 Official invitation letters have been sent to all selected riders.

⏳ Acceptance deadline: September 10, 2026
Any unconfirmed positions will be offered to riders on the reserve list.

Congratulations to all selected riders, and thank you to every rider, family, and federation who participated in this year’s selection process. We look forward to seeing the next generation of talent on track! 🏍️🔥

🤝 FIM Asia, Kookmin University & OHVALE join forces for the future of motorcycle sport and mobility

Seoul, Korea 🇰🇷 | 31 August 2026

A new international cooperation framework has been established through the signing of a three-party MOU between Kookmin University, FIM Asia and Italian motorcycle manufacturer OHVALE.

The partnership will focus on advanced motorcycle research, technical exchange, professional education, youth and rider development, and internationally recognised programmes.

The agreement brings together the strength of Kookmin University’s academic and research expertise, FIM Asia’s continental motorcycle sport network, and OHVALE’s specialised technical capabilities.

FIM Asia President Abdulrahman Al Mannai welcomed the new cooperation, with FIM Asia Vice President Mohammed Rhiza Bin Ghazi and Secretary General Franck Vayssié representing FIM Asia at the signing ceremony.

A special acknowledgement goes to FOMS KOREA President Stephen Sungyuk Won for his important bridging and coordinating role in bringing the three organisations together.

The MOU marks an important step towards stronger links between academia, international motorcycle sport and the global motorcycle industry. 🏍️🌏
