The YMCA Makati is a non-profit organization founded in 1971 for youth empowerment and community development to fulfill the YMCA Mission (Paris Basis, 1855):

“The Young Men’s Christian Associations seek to unite those young men who, regarding Jesus Christ as their God and Saviour, according to the Holy Scriptures, desire to be his disciples in their faith and in their life, and to associate their efforts for the extension of his Kingdom amongst young men."

IN FOCUS: The 11th Youth Leadership Formation (YLF) was successfully held from July 31 to August 2, 2026, at Maximo Estrella Senior High School. 🫡❤️

The 3-day leadership training aims to equip the youth with values of servant leadership, club management, and empower them to become competent young leaders.

Since 2012, YLF is one of the flagship programs of the YMCA Makati to empower the young people of My Makati.

IN FOCUS: The YMCA Makati is represented by Ms. Ma. Magda Gana (General Secretary, seated 2nd to the rightmost) and Ms. Melody Quintanilla (Former Youth Trustee, standing at the leftmost) at the 21st World Council of YMCAs held on July 19-25, 2026 at Toronto, Canada.

The gathering is attended by 1,300 delegates from 100 countries, and composed of numerous sessions aimed at exploring how YMCAs transform communities. 🤙
