Completing our podcast lineup is Ms. Jamaica G. Mueda, the third featured speaker for Podbokasiya Season 2! As the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer IV of the City Government of Sipalay, she has led efforts in strengthening disaster preparedness, emergency response, and community resilience since 2018.

A Registered Nurse with a Master’s Degree in Crisis and Disaster Management and a certified Emergency Medical Technician, Ms. Mueda brings invaluable expertise in search and rescue, incident command systems, and climate adaptation.

An award-winning social worker, scholar, and public servant, Dr. Verdeprado brings decades of experience in social welfare, gender-based violence advocacy, and development leadership. From academe to government service, she has led programs, authored impactful works, and earned national recognition for excellence in social work.

Currently serving as Department Head II of the Bacolod City Department of Social Services and Development, Dr. Verdeprado shares insights on leadership, service, and creating meaningful social change.
