𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲.

While people normally flee from danger, firefighters face them head-on – always in the frontlines, bravely saving lives and property. On National Disaster Resilience Month, we honor their sacrifice by ensuring their safety and enhancing their capacities while in the line of duty.

On July 26, equipped 30 volunteer fire brigades under the Association of Volunteer Fire Chiefs and Fire Fighters of the Philippines with 313 sets of firefighting personal protective equipment (PPEs), helping strengthen the safety and operational readiness of volunteer firefighters. The brand-new PPE sets will replace worn-out gear and augment existing equipment to ensure better protection for firefighters in the line of duty.

Because when we protect our first responders, we help build safer, more resilient communities.
