It was started by a group of boys who knew each other since they were little in Mangga Street at West Rembo, Makati City Philippines in year 2000. During their childhood, they knew each other as their playmates and played some street games whenever they have no classes especially during summer, sembreaks and Holidays. They used to get together whenever each of them is having their Birthday and als
o during their vacation. There is also a group during their childhood called “76Blk Youth” an Independent organization in the streets that they live in, who were conducting events every Feast Day, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve at Mangga Street as it was a tradition since 1980’s. Whenever there is an event at the streets, they were very active in participating on that particular event especially in Parlor Games. Until they’ve grown up, Some of them already have their own families, some has to leave because of work and came back after a year, and even some of them changed their personalities and their attitudes, still they treat each other like brothers or as their second family. They never leave and forget each other and even there are many challenges that they had in their group, the bond that they had since they were little is still there. When it was already their turn to be the next generation of the 76Blk Youth in year 2006, the bond that they had became stronger and they recognized that they were already a team and has its own responsibilities. Until they planned to name their group as VillageBoiz so that aside from being a youth member of 76Blk, they want to have their own group that no one will have rules to follows and it started to become much stronger that holds each of them. They learned their skills and talents during their bonding time like playing sports games and sound tripping. Some of them learned how to play guitar, some of them learned how to play basketball and even some of them learned how to drink alcohol. After many years have passed, the VillageBoiz were still there and they didn’t even notice that their group is getting bigger because no one knows who will become part of their group and it doesn’t matter to them who are joining in their group because whenever you were given a time to bond with them in any ways, even though that you were not their childhood friend, they will still consider you as a member of the group. Some of their members, created a video every year that contains some of the pictures with them that reminds them of their happenings and how they’ve grown during the years passed and uploaded it in youtube and Facebook since the VillageBoiz was named.
