On March 12, 2026, alumni of the Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS) gathered for a Follow-Up Seminar and Activity, reconnecting to share ideas, build collaborations, and strengthen their professional networks. Esteemed professors from partner universities in Japan and members of the JDS Operating Committee also participated.
For over 20 years, the JDS program has nurtured leaders in public service, and this event showcased its growing alumni community.
From AI to global economics, professors from Hitotsubashi University, the International University of Japan, the University of Tsukuba, and Yokohama National University shared their expertise in a seminar attended by JDS alumni.
Highlights included a CSC-credited seminar on โBuilding Collaborative and Inclusive Working Relationshipsโ led by CSC-CSI Director Emylin Severo, which equipped alumni with tools to enhance workplace dynamics.
JICA Philippines Senior Representative TAKENAKA Narufumi emphasized the importance of follow-up initiatives for lifelong learning and people-to-people ties in his toast.
Special thanks to the 21st batch alumni for their energetic emceeing and coordination, adding a personal touch to the event.
