To assist all co-curricular campus organizations and clubs in preparing their accreditation documents, the Office of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) is providing the official templates for the following requirements:

- General Plan of Action (GPOA)

Organizations and clubs are advised to use these templates in accomplishing their accreditation documents to ensure consistency and proper formatting. However, for those who have already submitted the letter of intent and the written document of organization's purpose, goals, and objectives, rest assured that the document is already valid.

The accomplished list may be submitted online by sending it through the MESHS-SSLG page or by directly messaging the MESHS-SSLG President, Gianna Jeanne Navales, via Facebook.

Please be reminded that the hard copy of the List of Officers will still be collected on Monday, July 13, 2026.

Every meaningful initiative begins with learners who are willing to step forward and serve.

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government of Maximo Estrella Senior High School officially opens HIRAYA: SSLG Committee Hunt 2026–2027.

We are looking for dedicated, responsible, and service-oriented learners who are ready to support the implementation of school programs, projects, and activities. As an SSLG Committee Member, you will have the opportunity to strengthen your leadership skills, collaborate with fellow learners, and make meaningful contributions toward a positive and inclusive school community.

• Internal Affairs Committee
• Secretariat Committee
• Finance Committee
• Public Relations Committee
• Learners Welfare Committee

🌟 Eligibility:
• Must be a bona fide learner of Maximo Estrella Senior High School for School Year 2026–2027.
• Must have good academic standing.
• Must be willing to participate in SSLG meetings, activities, and assigned responsibilities.
• Must uphold the values, policies, and standards of the school and the SSLG.
• Must have relevant experience or a genuine interest in the committee they are applying for.

The Maximo Estrella Senior High School Supreme Secondary Learner Government joins the nation in honoring the memory of Chris Lorenz T. Fabian, a 15 year old student whose extraordinary courage and selflessness became a symbol of hope and heroism.

During the tragic shooting incident at his school in Tacloban City, Chris courageously held the classroom door to help protect his classmates, allowing many of them to escape to safety. For his remarkable act of bravery and sacrifice, he was posthumously awarded the Gold Gallantry and Heroism Award by the Boy Scouts of the Philippines.

His story reminds us that even in the face of adversity, one person's courage can save lives and inspire countless others.

As a school community, may we continue to foster kindness, responsibility, and vigilance while working together to create a learning environment where every student feels safe, respected, and protected. Let this also serve as a reminder of the importance of strengthening school safety, promoting preparedness, and looking after one another. 💚💛

May Chris Lorenz T. Fabian's legacy continue to inspire every Filipino learner to lead with courage, compassion, and service.

Our deepest condolences and prayers are with his family, friends, classmates, and the entire San Jose National High School community.

In line with our school mantra, "𝐌𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞," the MESHS SSLG proudly launches Project SORTify, a year round initiative that encourages proper waste segregation and environmental responsibility within our school community.

Through the implementation of a color coded waste segregation system, we aim to cultivate habits of discipline, accountability, and environmental stewardship among every Estrellian. By practicing proper waste disposal, we do more than keep our campus clean. We demonstrate respect for our shared spaces and for one another.

Please observe the following segregation guide:

🟡 Yellow Bin – Non biodegradable Waste
🔵 Blue Bin – Biodegradable Waste

Some classrooms may also have additional color coded bins. If available, kindly use them accordingly. Papers and other recyclable materials may be placed in their designated bins whenever available to further support our school's waste management efforts.

Proper waste segregation is more than a routine. It is a simple practice that reflects our shared commitment to keeping MESHS clean, organized, and environmentally responsible. ⭐

Maximo Estrella Senior High School (MESHS) conducted its First State of the School Address on June 27, gathering parents and guardians of Grade 11 and Grade 12 students.

The program began with the opening remarks of Master Teacher II Priscilla M. Agaton, who welcomed the parents and guardians and expressed appreciation for their participation in the school activity.

During the Principal’s Hour, Officer-in-Charge Principal Melvin B. Canlas emphasized the vital role of the family, community, and school in supporting the growth and development of learners.

He highlighted that student success is achieved through the collective effort of all stakeholders.

Meanwhile, Public Schools District Supervisor Irene G. Aquino delivered an inspirational talk focusing on the significant role of parents in shaping the holistic development of their children.

She stressed that raising responsible and productive citizens requires strong collaboration between the home, community, and the school.
Outgoing SPTA President Jose Agapito I. Baterbonia also encouraged parents to actively participate in school activities, emphasizing the significant role of parental involvement in creating a supportive learning environment for students.

Subject Group Head Arnold G. Chan discussed the schedule of asynchronous classes, while Guidance Advocate Aljohn M. Paitone presented the guidance report.
