💙💛 Membership Night | Rotary Club of Makati Primea / Rotary International D3830
Last August 28, 2026, we gathered for an evening of fellowship, connection, and new friendships—with the goal of inviting more people to discover Rotary and become part of our growing family.

We opened the event with a warm message from our President, Rtn. Joy Frances Inocencio, followed by our Guest Speaker and very own Charter President Leah Peña, who shared “What is Rotary and Why Join Rotary?” giving our guests a better understanding of what Rotary stands for and what it means to be part of this global community of people who come together to serve and create lasting change.

Beyond the projects and activities, Rotary is about people—building friendships, sharing ideas, using our skills to help others, and creating opportunities to make a difference in our communities. Membership also opens doors to leadership development, professional connections, fellowship, and service experiences locally and around the world.

A simple evening with a meaningful purpose: to connect with new people, grow our membership, and inspire more hearts to serve. 💙💛

Belong. Connect. Serve.

🌟 PROJECT SHINING STARS 🌟
Lighting Young Minds. Nourishing Young Lives. Creating Brighter Futures.

On July 30, 2026, the Rotary Club of Makati Primea and Rotaract Club of Makati Primea joined hands to celebrate National Children’s Day through Project Shining Stars, held in Our Lady of the Star Nursery in Tala, Caloocan City. ❤️💙

This meaningful project reached 150 underprivileged nursery children, ages 2–4, from creekside communities—many of whom are children of parents working as garbage collectors and informal waste pickers (mangangalakal).

Through this initiative, we provided not only food, but also hope, learning opportunities, and joyful childhood experiences through:

🍱 Feeding Program — fueling young minds and nourishing growing bodies;
📚 Children’s Book Distribution — inspiring a love for reading and learning;
🎨 Raffle Prizes of 30 Niko Drawing Boards — encouraging creativity and imagination;and
🎁 Gifts and giveaways — bringing smiles to our little Shining Stars.

The project was led by Rtn. Stacy, in partnership with the Joyful Giver Foundation, and the invaluable support of:

🌟 HIP Joy Inocencio
President, Rotary Club of Makati Primea

🌟 President Lexi Inocencio
President, Rotaract Club of Makati Primea

🤝 Rotaract Members and Volunteers

💙 Donations in Kind from Rotary Club of Makati Primea Members:
• HIP Joy Frances Inocencio & The Joyful Giver Foundation
• PP Lettie Chiok
• Rtn. Filipina Cordova
• Rtn. Awee Dacanay
• Rtn. Stacy Lyn Liong

❤️ Donations in Kind from Rotaracts:
• 30 Niko Drawing Boards for our young beneficiaries 🎨

🤝 Other Donations in Kind:
• Generously provided by the Fabia family and other friends of Rtn. Stacy

For these children, it only takes a complete and nutritious meal, a new set of books, a drawing board, or a small bag of gifts and giveaways to make them feel seen, valued, and cared for. ❤️

Project Shining Stars is more than a feeding and donation activity. It is our commitment to help children build a brighter future through Basic Education & Literacy and Maternal & Child Health.

🌟 Every child deserves a chance to learn.
Every child deserves a chance to dream.
Every child deserves a chance to shine.

Together, we continue to Unite for Good and Create a Lasting Impact, one child, one family, and one community at a time.

On July 10, 2026, the Rotary Club of Makati Primea, in partnership with the 126th CGAS Malacañang and 124th Squadron, participated in and supported the Philippine Coast Guard’s (PCG) iCARE Mission for the residents of Disiplina Village Lingunan in Valenzuela City.

As part of the iCARE Program, the partners provided medicines and full-day meals, including breakfast, lunch, and snacks, along with free reading glasses, complimentary haircut services, free legal consultations, health checks, and basic medical assistance.
