Go Digital Philippines, together with ASEAN‑BAC and PSAC Digital Infrastructure, convened DICT, DTI, and Global AI Council Philippines, and the Asian Development Bank, with McKinsey & Company and Boston Consulting Group providing strategic advisory support, to align on ASEAN AI Workstream updates, strategic direction, and the roadmap for the ASEAN Center for Applied AI and Governance.

Together, the group clarified the next moves: stronger governance and trust, sharper milestones, and concrete steps to deliver real impact across the region 👍🏼

MAKATI, PHILIPPINES — Go Digital Philippines and the Department of Information and Communications Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Feb. 25, 2026, to support the ASEAN AI Project and advance responsible AI adoption and inclusive digital transformation in the Philippines.

The MoU was signed by DICT Secretary Henry Aguda and GDP Chairman Atty. Mark Gorriceta. Also present were DICT Director Emmy Lou Versoza-Delfin and members of the GDP Board of Trustees, including Chaye Cabal-Revilla and Mishy Co.

ASEAN-BAC Philippines, PSAC Digital Infrastructure, and Go Digital Philippines signed a Memorandum of Understanding on February 18, 2026 to strengthen collaboration on AI adoption and digital transformation for MSMEs, aligning private sector initiatives with national and ASEAN digital priorities under the theme “ASEAN AI for MSMEs.”

The MOU was signed by Atty. Mark Gorriceta, Chairman of Go Digital Philippines, Myla Villanueva, PSAC Digital Infrastructure Sector Lead; Jose Ma. Concepcion III, Chairman of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council; and Patrick Chua, Executive Director of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council.

The agreement commits the groups to deeper public private cooperation, stronger digital infrastructure, and wider access to emerging technologies to help MSMEs boost productivity and expand market opportunities across ASEAN.

Go Digital Philippines joined the recent PSAC Digital Infrastructure Meeting held on January 9, 2026. Led by Ms. Myla Villanueva, the meeting brought together leaders from the nation’s telcos to reimagine online public services and move from fragmented systems toward a smarter, more connected digital government.

Key discussions included ASEAN preparation and aligning Philippine digital initiatives with regional frameworks, particularly in AI, led by Go Digital Philippines Chairman Atty. Mark Gorriceta.

This work is focused on real outcomes: public services that are faster, simpler, and more inclusive for every Filipino.

Last January 6, GDP formally joined DICT’s ASEAN Task Force during an early coordination meeting with DICT Secretary Henry Aguda, together with partners from PSAC and ASEAN BAC.

The meeting focused on aligning priorities and setting the direction for the Philippines’ preparations for ASEAN 2026.

Last December 9, 2025, Go Digital Philippines convened partners from across the digital ecosystem for 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, reinforcing collaboration as we move toward our shared digital agenda for 2026.

The evening marked the introduction of GDP’s new Chairperson, Atty. Mark Gorriceta, alongside discussions with Secretary Henry Aguda and other government and industry leaders on sustaining momentum for inclusive digital growth. Cong. Cheeno Miguel D. Almario, Senior Vice Chairperson of the House Committee on Information and Communications Technology, served as keynote speaker, underscoring the role of policy and partnership in advancing the country’s digital priorities.

The gathering also recognized the continuing contributions of Chairperson Emeritus Ayhee Campos, Executive Director Mishy Co and Emerald Ridao with the GDP Women in Digital community, whose work has helped strengthen programs, expand partnerships, and shape initiatives moving forward.

With the presence of Cong. Brian Poe, Usec. Margarita “Marge” Gutierrez, Usec. Francesca “Sasa” Del Rosario, Atty. Third Bagro, Atty. Yves Gonzales of TikTok, Dr. William Emmanuel Yu of PSAC-DI, and partners from across the digital and tech sectors, the gathering reflected a shared commitment to collaboration beyond 2025.

Last November 6, Go Digital Philippines joined the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), the Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC), and SM Supermalls for the launch of J.O.B.S. (Job Opportunities Building Skills), a partnership that opens work immersion opportunities for Senior High School (SHS) 2025 learners 🧑🏻‍🎓

Through this initiative, students will gain hands-on experience, digital-skills training, and access to job-matching programs in partnership with the partner companies in the private sector ✨

Atty. Mark Gorriceta previously served as Go Digital Philippines’ (GDP) Board Secretary and is currently the Chairman and Managing Partner at Gorriceta, Cauton, Africa & Saavedra. He is recognized as a pioneering expert for his work in digital assets, blockchain, virtual currencies, e-commerce, data privacy, and artificial intelligence, and he also serves as Board Trustee and Board Secretary of the Blockchain Council of the Philippines.

As Chairman, he will work with the GDP Board and partners in government, industry, academe, and civil society to expand inclusive digital access, digital skills, and e-governance.
