MCCI is honored to witness the Opening Ceremony of the Franchise International Malaysia (FIM) Expo & Seminar 2026 held at the iconic — one of Southeast Asia’s premier platforms for entrepreneurship, innovation, and global business collaboration last 21 May 2026.
This year’s 33rd edition of Franchise International Malaysia brings together industry leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and franchise innovators from across the region and beyond, reinforcing Malaysia’s position as a strategic hub for franchise development and international business expansion. Organized in collaboration with the Malaysian Franchise Association (MFA) and the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development and Pernas, the event continues to open doors for meaningful partnerships and economic opportunities.
The expo and seminar aim to further strengthen Malaysia’s franchise ecosystem, with hundreds of exhibition spaces, international exhibitors, business matching opportunities, and forums discussing the future of franchising, retail innovation, sustainability, and cross-border collaboration. FIM has also historically attracted participants and visitors from over 70 countries, showcasing the growing global interest in Malaysia’s franchise landscape.
MCCI Head of Foreign Affairs Anna Karina Jardin proudly participated in the event. Highlighting the importance of strengthening Malaysia-Philippines cooperation through entrepreneurship, cultural exchange, and regional partnerships. Her participation reflects the growing role of creatives and community leaders in bridging industries and fostering people-to-people connections within ASEAN.
The opening ceremony was attended by distinguished government officials, franchise industry stakeholders, international delegates, business chambers, investors, and representatives from various organizations committed to empowering entrepreneurship and sustainable economic growth in the region.
