The Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industries Philippines, Inc. (MCCI) was pleased to be represented by Ms. Carina Lau, Ms. Cristy Oreta, Ms. Tess Co, and Mr. Win Tay at the DITO BizBayani Awards Night 2026, a celebration honoring Filipino micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and their contributions to innovation, growth, and nation-building.

The DITO BizBayani Awards recognizes entrepreneurs who continue to push forward through resilience, digital adoption, innovation, and their positive impact on their communities. Strengthening Malaysiaโ€“Philippines Business Cooperation Towards SIBS 2026 ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

The Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industries Philippines, Inc. (MCCI) recently welcomed a delegation from Invest Selangor Berhad, Wanita Berdaya Selangor, and Yayasan Insan Istimewa Selangor for a productive engagement in Manila.

The courtesy visit was led by Dato' Hasan Azhari Hj Idris, CEO of Invest Selangor Berhad; Mr. Ahmad Khairo, Senior Director of Invest Selangor; and Puan Siti Faridah binti Abdul Samad, CEO of Wanita Berdaya Selangor.

The meeting brought together 10 MCCI delegates and 9 delegates from Selangor, providing an important platform to exchange information, strengthen institutional cooperation, and explore potential business and investment opportunities between Malaysia and the Philippines.

Discussions also focused on the upcoming Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2026, taking place from 14โ€“17 October 2026 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, SIBS serves as a gateway to ASEAN, connecting businesses, investors, policymakers and industry leaders through programs focused on trade, investment, technology, industry, talent and regional economic cooperation.

MCCI looks forward to supporting stronger participation from the Philippine business community at SIBS 2026 and encouraging Malaysian business delegates to explore the growing opportunities available in the Philippines. We believe continued engagement and collaboration can create meaningful partnerships and contribute to stronger Malaysiaโ€“Philippines economic ties.

The 8th Monthly Meeting of the Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industries Philippines, Inc. served as another meaningful opportunity to align our goals and strengthen our shared direction as a Chamber.

Discussions focused on the preparations for the upcoming ASEAN Chambers event this October in the Philippines, plans for MYFG 2026, the Chamber's CSR initiatives, and the activities we will be working on in the coming months.
