𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜 | 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀, 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝘆𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗶𝘁, 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗶.

On June 18, 2026, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Makati City Council proudly joined the launching of 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜: 𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 at the Ayala Malls Circuit.

The Opening Ceremonies commenced with BSP Makati City Council 1st Vice Chair Vincent T. Sese delivering the welcome remarks on behalf of Makati City Mayor Maria Lourdes Nancy S. Binay. In her message, Mayor Ate Nancy Binay emphasized the importance of promoting scouting and its role in the society while also reaffirming the City Government’s commitment to supporting the BSP. She thanked the organizers – BSP and the Philippine Amusement and Entertainment Corporation for choosing Makati City as the venue of the museum.

Vice President Jejomar C. Binay, BSP Makati City Council Chairman Jejomar Erwin S. Binay Jr. attended the event alongside DepEd Secretary Juan Edgardo “Sonny” M. Angara. They joined the BSP leadership at the National, Regional, and Local Council levels to witness the launching of the first offsite museum of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines.

In his keynote address, Secretary Angara emphasized the importance of scouting to train young people face real-world challenges, including life saving and survival skills in the wake of recent tragedies. He announced that the Department of Education will coordinate with the BSP to strengthen training of said skills for scouts.

Makati City's scouts were among the very first to explore the destination. They actively interacted with hands-on exhibits and viewed rare BSP historical memorabilia that showcased the rich heritage of the organization. Treasured pieces from the BSP Makati City Council’s own - including the trophies and medals of Ten Outstanding Boy Scouts (TOBS) National Awardees from our council were part of the displayed regalia.

A key highlight of the museum is the BSP National Presidents’ gallery featuring Vice President Jejomar C. Binay, who led the BSP from 1994-1996 and 1998-2016. To commemorate the milestone, BSP Secretary General Atty. Cedrick G. Train joined the members of the BSP Makati City Local Council Executive Board for a special photo opportunity with the former Vice President

The launch brought BSP’s leaders, partners, and most especially, the scouts together in honoring Scouting’s heritage and sparking new adventures.

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜 | 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗶 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

In celebration of Philippine Flag Day, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Makati City Council took part in the Government Program and Services Event held at the Rizal Park last June 6.

The scouts engaged in various activities organized by booths from different government agencies. Later, they also visited the National Museum of Natural History to cap off their meaningful day of learning and national pride.

Through their participation, scouts from Makati commemorated the ideals of patriotism, unity, and service that the Philippine flag stands for.

Sa ika-12 ng Hunyo, ginunita ng sambayanang Pilipino ang ika-128 anibersaryo ng Araw ng Kalayaan bilang pagpupugay sa katapangan at sakripisyo ng ating mga bayani para sa kalayaang ating tinatamasa ngayon.

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang, nakiisa ang mga Scout sa Heritage Walk na ginanap sa Rizal Park, kung saan kanilang binisita at pinag-aralan ang mahahalagang pook at kasaysayang humubog sa ating bansa. Ang gawaing ito ay nagsilbing paalala ng kahalagahan ng ating pamana at pagkakakilanlan bilang mga Pilipino.

Sa pamamagitan ng mga gawaing tulad nito, patuloy na isinasabuhay ng Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Makati City Council ang diwa ng pagiging makabayan, paglilingkod sa kapwa, at pagmamahal sa ating bansa.

ng paglaya ng ating bansa, isang pagpupugay sa katapangan, sakripisyo, at pagmamahal sa bayan ng mga bayaning nagbigay-daan sa ating kalayaan.

Patuloy na isinasabuhay ng 𝗕𝗼𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 - 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗶 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 ang diwa ng pagiging makabayan sa pamamagitan ng paglilingkod, pamumuno, at pagiging mabuting mamamayan.

Sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang ating kalayaan at
ipagpatuloy ang diwa ng serbisyo para sa Diyos, Bayan, at Kapwa.

Kalayaang ini alay ng nakaraan, mananatiling gabay sa kasalukuyan at kinabukasan. ⚜️

As Scouts, we are committed to protecting and preserving our natural resources through responsible leadership, community service, and everyday actions that make a positive impact on our environment.

Ang watawat ng Pilipinas ay sagisag ng ating pagkakaisa,
pagkakakilanlan, at pagmamahal sa bayan. Ito ay sumasalamin
sa mga pagpapahalagang nagbubuklod sa atin bilang isang sambayanan.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Watawat ng Pilipinas, nawa’y patuloy natingipagmalaki ang ating lahi at isabuhay ang diwa ng pagiging Makabayansa ating araw-araw na gawain.

Patuloy na sinasabuhay ng BSP Makati City Council ang mga pagpapahalagang kinakatawan ng ating watawat—pagkakaisa, pagmamahal sa bayan, at paglilingkod sa kapwa.

Sagisag ng pagkakakilanlan at ating bayan, buhay na diwa ng pagmamahal sa Inang Bayan.
