COCO NEEDS YOUR HELP!!!

Coco's human friends brought her to The Cat Clinic earlier this week after Coco became weak and lost appetite. The Cat Clinic found that Coco had a lung infection. Thankfully, Coco is responding to her treatment which includes nebulization therapy. Coco still has nasal discharge and sneezing, but she has regained her appetite and is alert and responsive when approached.

We are now looking for someone who can foster while she recovers since she cannot mingle with other community cats while she recovers. If you would like to foster Coco, feel free to drop us a message 📩

Coco is a lovely and gorgeous cat so we're pretty sure you'll enjoy your time with her.

Last year at the SDG Action Summit 2025, Saving Strays Philippines proudly introduced “Start ‘Em Young, Start Saving Strays” — an immersive exhibit showcasing the power of social innovation in reshaping the future of animal welfare in the Philippines.

What began as a grassroots initiative advocating for stray animals has evolved into a thriving community platform, empowering individuals to connect, contribute, and collaborate toward a sustainable future for both strays and rescuers.

To Global Changemaker Schools , SDG Action Summit Team, and all event partners and sponsors — thank you for creating a national platform where changemakers, NGOs, students, and social enterprises can bring the Sustainable Development Goals to life. Your leadership truly transformed global goals into local action.

We are honored to stand alongside fellow exhibitors and advocates who continue to inspire action for People and Planet.

This year, Saving Strays proudly highlighted:

SDG 15 – Life on Land
SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities & Communities
SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals

Because caring for our communities means caring for all who live in them — including stray animals.

At the Sandbox Session, we facilitated a mini Design Thinking workshop, challenging participants to develop innovative, creative, and sustainable solutions to the challenges faced by stray animals. Watching young minds collaborate, ideate, and propose actionable solutions reminded us that compassion becomes powerful when paired with critical thinking.

At The Soapbox, we spoke about animal compassion — sharing about humane stray care, responsible pet ownership, volunteerism, and how even small actions can ripple outward. Because change doesn’t always start big, sometimes it begins with choosing kindness.

To every student who visited our booth, joined our Adoption Drive for Cats of Sorrento and Cats of Glorietta , signed their pledges, supported our merchandise PusangGalaClub, asked questions, and stayed curious — thank you. Your energy proves that the next generation is ready to lead with empathy.
