The visit aimed to learn about the journey of establishing the ๐™‹๐™–๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™ค๐™ง๐™–๐™ก ๐˜พ๐™–๐™ง๐™š ๐™›๐™ค๐™ง ๐˜พ๐™๐™ž๐™ก๐™™๐™ง๐™š๐™ฃ ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™‘๐™ช๐™ก๐™ฃ๐™š๐™ง๐™–๐™—๐™ก๐™š ๐˜ผ๐™™๐™ช๐™ก๐™ฉ๐™จ (๐™‹๐˜พ๐˜พ๐™‘๐˜ผ) within the parish, as well as to understand how its programs and services contribute to child protection and welfare.

The activity also provided participants with the opportunity to witness and hear firsthand the experiences of parish volunteers and beneficiaries of the ministry. Through these shared stories, participants gained a deeper appreciation of the impact of faith-based initiatives in safeguarding children and supporting vulnerable individuals. The visit further highlighted the importance of community involvement, compassion, and sustained commitment in promoting safe and nurturing environments.

In addition, the activity allowed participants to explore possible areas of collaboration between KNK Philippines and parish-based volunteers in supporting Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL). Through the engagement, participants gained valuable insights into the organizationโ€™s holistic approach to care and its commitment to creating safe, supportive, and transformative environments for children and young people.

On ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐œ๐ก ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, the RCAM-Advocacy Team convened for a preparation meeting at the Our Lady of Sorrows Outreach Foundation Inc. in Pasay City. During the session, the team discussed and finalized key plans, strategies, and logistical preparations for the upcoming Womenโ€™s Month Advocacy event to be held at Brgy. 101, Bldg. 1 Covered Court, Vitas Katuparan, Tondo, Manila. The meeting attended by 10 Advocacy Team Members, 3 OLSOFI Interns, and 2 SPCC-NCR Staff.

The meeting also served as a platform to align roles and responsibilities among team members, ensuring a coordinated and impactful implementation of activities. The RCAM-OSM invited SPCC-NCR to provide a brief program orientation on its role within RCAM. During the meeting, SPCC-NCR presented its key initiatives, particularly its work in supporting the establishment and implementation of Child Protection Policies in RCAM parishes. The organization also highlighted its ongoing efforts in capacity-building, awareness-raising, and providing assistance to ensure safe environments for children. In turn, RCAM-OSM shared its core functions, which include guiding RCAMโ€™s long-term direction, strategic planning, and the coordination of major pastoral and administrative initiatives.

The meeting was attended by three SPCC-NCR staff members: Ms. Janalyn Palomiquw, RSW, MMPA (Program Director); Ms. Mary Ann Bernardo, RSW (Direct Service Coordinator); and Sr. Anita Andrew, SDS (Assistant Advocacy Coordinator). Representing RCAM-OSM were Engr. Bernard โ€œBobbyโ€ Q. Lasala (Head of Implementation and Support), Mr. Abel P. Nosce Jr. (Chief Strategic Officer), and Mr. Bert Abelyas (Officer Assistant).
