🇮🇱 “NOBODY WAS WATCHING”? LOOK AT THE NUMBERS.

They said the hall was empty.
They said nobody was listening.

But the real audience was never limited to the seats inside the United Nations.

According to the figures circulating after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s UN address, his message generated tens of millions of views and impressions across YouTube, X, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram.

While dozens of delegates chose to walk out of the UN General Assembly hall in protest, millions of people around the world could still watch, listen, debate and share.

You can walk out of the room.
You cannot stop the message from reaching the world. 🇮🇱

Benjamin Netanyahu stood on the UN stage and presented Israel’s case directly to a global audience. The speech itself lasted about 39 minutes and addressed Iran, terrorism, Israel’s security and international criticism of Israel.

Whatever your political opinion, one thing is clear: Israel’s voice was heard far beyond that hall.

If you believe Israel deserves to be heard, SHARE THIS. 🇮🇱🌎

23 APRIL 1940: On this day, 86 years ago, President Manuel Quezon inaugurated Mariquina Hall, established on his own property as a place of refuge for Jewish families fleeing persecution in Europe. Originally intended for his son, President Quezon instead offered the property as a temporary sanctuary where refugees could live and grow their own food.

Working with then U.S. High Commissioner Paul V. McNutt, the Frieder brothers, Jewish relief organizations, and the Jewish community in Manila, President Quezon helped save 1,315 Jewish refugees, later known as the "Manilaners".

In his remarks at the inauguration, President Quezon said:

“It is my hope, and indeed my expectation, that the people of the Philippines will have in the future every reason to be glad that when the time of need came, their country was glad to extend to a persecuted people, a hand of welcome.”

At a time when many countries turned Jewish refugees away, President Quezon opened not only the doors of the Philippines, but even his own home. His example of compassion and malasakit continues to inspire the friendship between the Filipino and Jewish peoples.

Although Mariquina Hall did not survive the battles of the Second World War, the school that now stands on its site continues to host Holocaust memorial activities honoring President Quezon’s moral courage and the Jewish lives he helped save.
