The blessed month of Ramadan is coming to a beautiful close. I want to take this moment to sincerely ask for forgiveness from my family, friends, colleagues, and everyone I have crossed paths with. If I have hurt or wronged you in any way—through my words, actions, or even my silence—I extend my heartfelt apologies. May Allah forgive us all, purify our hearts, and accept our prayers and fasting.
As we bid farewell to this sacred month, I pray that the lessons we have learned—patience, gratitude, and sincerity—remain in our hearts long after Ramadan has passed. May we continue to embody the spirit of worship and kindness in our daily lives.
Our country is facing challenging times, with political tensions between the current administration and the supporters of former President Rodrigo Duterte. These divisions have created uncertainty, distrust, and discord among our people. However, as we reflect on the essence of Ramadan, we are reminded of what truly matters—unity, mercy, and submission to Allah. Ramadan is not merely about abstaining from food and drink; it is about purifying our hearts, strengthening our faith, and practicing self-restraint. It is a time for deep reflection, where we renew our connection with Allah and remind ourselves of our responsibilities—not just as individuals, but as a community.
Let us also not forget our brothers and sisters suffering in Gaza, Syria, Yemen, Sudan, and other nations facing oppression. We see the truth, and with the help of Allah, we will always stand by it. May Allah grant them relief, protection, and victory against their oppressors.
"Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from Yourself. Indeed, You are the Bestower." (Surah Aal-e-Imran 3:8)
Ya Allah, never leave us to ourselves, even for the blink of an eye. Let truth and justice prevail in our land. Guide our leaders, heal our people, and strengthen us to always stand for what is right. Keep us firm on Your path, protect us from falsehood, and make us among those who uphold righteousness.
Ameen, Ya Rabb.
