We're proud to share that 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝘁 𝗟𝘂𝗽𝗮, Documentary film 𝘣𝘺 𝘈𝘭𝘶𝘯-𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯 𝘍𝘪𝘭𝘮𝘴, and directed by 𝘓𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘎𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘊𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘢, has advanced to the Top 10 of the 4th Refugee Film Festival Short Film Competition!

Selected among numerous entries, Langit Lupa continues to bring its story to a wider audience while representing the creativity and passion of student filmmakers from the Institute of Arts and Design.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | The UMak Film Society was invited to the advanced screening of 𝗜𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝘆, written and directed by Guy Ritchie. The event was presented by CreaZion Studios and held at SM North EDSA on May 12, 2026.

Representing the organization were Angela Ashlyn Arce and Diana Duerme, who joined fellow student representatives from different universities and film enthusiasts for a thrilling action night.

The film follows an elite team tasked with reclaiming a stolen future while creating deadly strategies, deception, and survival. Starring Jaek Gylenhaal, Henry Cavill, and Eiza Gozalez, "In the Grey" is still 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙨 𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙬𝙞𝙙𝙚. 🎬
