Our 2-day activity brought together passionate young artists to enhance their skills and use creativity as a tool for peace advocacy. Through visual arts, spoken word poetry, and photography, they created their own master pieces sharing messages of unity, understanding, and harmony. Together, we believe that art has the power to inspire change and build a more peaceful school, community, and home. This activity is inspired by the Artists for Peace Track of Teach Peace Build Peace Movement.
This initiative is conducted and funded by Peace and Development Office and Ranaw Youth Development Office of the province through the Youth Engaged in Shakba (YES) led by Sir Noroden H. Monaim, Saliyanti Youth Advocates for Peace (SYAP) led by Sir Samsoden D. Potawan, and other passionate youth artists; Mohammad Edris S. Macapodi, and Asmana C. Umpat.
We would like to express our profound gratitude to our invited Resource Speakers; Sir Jamil Faisal S. Adiong, head of Ranaw Youth Development Office, Sir Arafat M. H. Hamid, President of Saguisag A Ranaw, Sir Walad M. Solaiman, President of Lanao Young Artists Collective, and Ms. Sittie Jehana M. Baunto, alumna of CyberPeace of Teach Peace Build Peace Movement. This event will not be possible without the help of the School Principal, faculty members, and students who played crucial roles for the success of this event. Special thanks to Ms. Nor-ainie Dimaronsing, staff of Ranaw Youth Development Office.
